How do you earn trust back in a serious relationship? After lying?
My Cinderella.
I guess you have to find a way to show them that. Treat them well, talk to them, and definately don't lie. (Try not to at least!)

You should kill yourself for being a liar in the first place.

I think when someone loses trust in someone its really hard to gain it back, some people never have trust in people once they lost it, like me. rolleyes.gif

You slice off your penis (or boobs), wrap it up in a box, and hand it to your sweetheart on Valentine's Day, which is coming up awfully soon.

^ Yeah, that will show sincerity alright. biggrin.gif

Like what most people here said, you can gain the trust of a person back by proving to them that you are a good kid. That you never intend to do it again and all that stuff. Just don't expect to win back his trust that easily.

Alright, well your partner may or may not be able to recover depending on the severity of the lie you have told.

This is all I know for sure... trust takes time time.

I think about it like this:

It's almost like a little status bar, and when you're there for that person little + signs make that status bar go up, but when you f**k up or make mistakes little - signs make that bar go down real fast. Everyone is effected by things differently, and doing one thing will have more of an effect on one person than it will on another (example: lying to one individual might be forgivable, but lying to another individual could end the relationship).

Alright kinda like this:

You hang out, and have a great time = Trust: +1
You keep a secret for your partner = Trust: +1
You comfort your partner when they are sad = Trust +1
You cheat on your partner = Trust: -100 *gameover*

You can prove your trustworthiness by killing a man. Or maybe that's how you prove your loyalty. I can't remember.
