This is the first thing I've put up as a showcase. I was bored and I saw the Milo Ventimiglia wallpaper and got inspired cause I love Heroes.
I'm kinda new, only been making graphics since december. Please tell me what ya think...be gentle..

Seriously, you're off to a great start! :) In my opinion, some things that can be fixed:

• The font. Use one that will stand out in a good way. It's also placed from one end of the image to the other. Try different placements, colors, gradients, other effects.
• The background. The white and yellow brushes aren't doing much. Try using a solid color besides white (only use it if it will suit the image well), gradients, textures, etc.

I agree with Mona about the font. You at least need to change the type...I'd even go as far as to say delete the text part altogether.

Other than that, I think it's gorgeous.

I agree with Mona also, but this is awesome, the glowing vintagey look.

Anywayyy, it looks nice.

I love the images you chose for this. The colors (yellows and greens) are very complimentary, although I'm with Mona in that the white background could be changed to a diferent color/hue for the better. The font is ok, but I think that something more feminine and fun could be used in its place.
