Okay so there's this kid and I sort of like him, but it's really complicated. I've been going in and out of liking him since October, and sometimes he acts like he likes me back and other times it's like he doesn't want to be around me. But last week he came over and we fooled around for a little bit and he asked me, "Is this it or is there going to be something more?" I have no idea what he meant by that, and I probably should have asked but I just didn't know what to say. I don't know if he meant is there going to be more fooling around or if he meant was something more than fooling around going to come out of this. Do any of you have advice for what I should do?

you aren't going to get answers here because we can't help you 100%. i know it's scary and awkward but if you want answers, talk to him. we can only make assumptions and what ifs. however, we can give you moral support. so find your courage and go to it.

The ONLY thing you CAN do is probably talk to him, unless you have super mind reading. (Which you don't) Just ask him what he meant when he said that. The only way you're going to get that question answered is if you ask him. Good luck!

hmmm... best advice i can give you is to talk to him about it.... worst thing to do is try to read inbetween the lines......

I agree with everyone else (talk to him) but I'd also like to add he's probably not worth wasting your time over if he *does* just want more fooling around and you want something more (or vice versa). You should definitely both want the same thing, no matter what. =) Good luck, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
