Has your cell phone ever rang in class? What ring tone was it? How did the teacher react?

My friend's phone once went off to the ringtone of the Mexican Hat Dance. The teacher told her not to pick it up so that she could dance to the song, and she danced the Mexican Hat Dance right there in front of everyone. LOL. Oh, the brilliance.

It did once, like last year but i caught it just in time that only a couple people around me heard and not the teacher. Well i was actually the TA so it probably wouldnt've been a big deal.

And today, i didn't know my battery was so low. And when it's low it makes that beeping noise. so that happened today in english. And i think only this guy nearby noticed.

No, my never went off. I always for get to turn it on anyway.

There was this one kid in my class who's went off and he took it out and said to the teacher, "I need to take this call."

And this is in the class of the most strict teacher in the grade. She made fun of him and didn't send him to the office (as many of us were assuming). I guess she was in a good mood that day. Or maybe she smoked and got drunk and still went to school to teach so she wasn't thinking right.

You know they came out with a ring tone with a very high pitch ring so that the young people can heard it but the older people can't (teachers). So you know when it rings but you won't get in trouble for it.

Phone always rings in class, and teachers either confiscate it or tell you to switch it off that's all.

Yesterday, some kid in my math class's phone went "...leave a message after the beep. -beep-"

I have my phone on vibrate everyday.

One time in class, someone's phone went off and it was like "GIVE ME 50 CENTS! GIVE ME 50 CENTS!" and my teacher was like "OKAY OKAY. I'll give you 50 cents."

so one time, we had a sub and this one guy's phone started ringing "EAST SIDE WALK IT OUT, WEST SIDE WALK IT OUT" and the sub was like "omg wtf is that" and she started freaking out.

we aren't supposed to have cellphones in class anyways.

Lol, just today my friend's cell rang hecka loud in class. My teacher was like, "Alright, turn all those phones off." And you could see a whole bunch of kids silencing their cells.

yeah it was embarassing too.

I have my phone set to vibrate. So no embaressing ring tone moments.

Once, in my 7th hour class we were taking a test and this kid's phone, who sits behind me, went off and it had that "I'm blue dap it de..." wtf that song is playing really loud. He just said "It's my mom".

There was another time in my Child Development class, this girl's phone went off and it went off "She's chewing on that--- like a peice of bubble yum" HAHA

My phone has vibrated several times. It's always during 7th period too! Very weird. My phone is NEVER on ring. I hate the annoying ring tones.

same here.. since mine is blck schd. its 4 block the last class, my phone always rings! it was funny last friday my mom called me & my ringtone for her was "Build me up Buttercup" i was cracking up so was everyone else when they heard it.

we had a sub that day & i forgot to turn my phone off
[we're even not supposed to have phones during class]
so the sub's explaining how to divide this and blah blah
all of a sudden, "its just a little too late, a little too wrong, and i cant waait"
the whole class turned to look at me, and the sub was like.. all mad and stuff
i got my phone taken away for the rest of the day =/ i swear, he was really mad
also, my friend's phone rang during class one time..his ringtone was sexy back =o
the teacher was like really mad, and she went up to my friend with her arms crossed
shes like "give me the phone". he gives her the phone, and all of a sudden,
"IM BRINGIN SEXYBACK" <--- that part came out when my teacher was holding the phone.

he got detention for three days in a row

Mine rang last year, right in the middle of a lecture my science teacher was giving us. It was loooouuuuuuud. I didn't realize it was mine until I recognized the default ring-tone thing. And I had to walk ALL the way across the classroom, with everyone staring at me, from my lab station to my desk to turn it off. All the way over, my teacher was giving me a death stare. He HATED cellphones in class.

OH. OH. I remember this one time during history last year, my friend's phone rang towards the end of class. My teacher, instead of giving him a detention or something, answered his phone. IT WAS HIS MOM. And my teacher ended up lecturing his mom about not calling his phone during school, blah, blah, blah. Hella funny.

Oh-kay, another story:

My friend's sister had dated my friend's teacher before (there's a big age difference between the brother and sister). So my friend's cell phone goes off and he's like "Uh..it's my sister." And the teacher goes "Oh! Can I talk to her?". Then my friend gives him the phone and the teacher talks for like five whole minutes to the sister.

Some girl in my class was text messaging her mom.

A similar thing happened in my fashions class. Except our teacher didn't realize it was a ringtone at first, and was dancing to the Macarena, lol..

i called my friend one time after school but she had to take a test
her ringtone for me is "im too sexy" but i didnt know she was taking a test so i left this OMG I LOVEEE YOU LETS HANG OUT SOON BABYYY and a little more inappropriateness and the next day she was like yeah, so my ringtone for you is im too sexy and my german teacher made me put your message on speaker phone and he started laughing and told me to keep it pg 13

For some reasons phones always ring during my last period class. Either my teacher doesn't hear it or she just chooses to ignore it. -_- Though every time someone's phone rings we try to cover it up by coughing and such. Hahah it's hilarious.

Oooh. Last year, my phone rang in the middle of language arts. I got a call from some random person in NY :l My mom had to go pick it up from the office. Sigh.

OH! And another one. There was this sub that was always playing tetris on her phone during class, so it wouldn't matter if we did too. XD

Yeah. It's this really annoying high-pitched sound that makes me want me eat my own hand. We tried it on a teacher and she really couldn't hear it. She's like, "I'm so old!" Which is funny, because she looks like she's 20, but she's only 30.

ha, so this one time, i was in english class, with this rly strict english teacher. And he's reading part of sherlock holmes to us, and then bang, my phone starts ringing. the ringtone? BRITNEY SPEARS - TOXIC. yeah, i know. HOW EMBARRASSING. literally everyone turned around and looked at me and my friend sitting next to me started laughing so hard, thats when i found out, she had called my phone. this was like what? 3 or 4 yrs ago. lmfao.

my cellphone vibrated during one of my classes, and it was very loud. i guess i really was paying attention to what my teacher was saying that i didn`t even notice. then everyone stared at me and i was like, "What??". i don`t think it would be an exaggeration to say that i looked & felt like an idiot.

One time my friend's cell phone went off in church and it was In Da Club by 50 cent. ROFL it was the funniest thing ever.

Mine's never rang because it's usually on vibrate at school, but there have been so many times when we've had the TV or the electronic board thing on and you know how it'll start making that annoying "dun dunna dun dunna dun dunna dunnnnnnnn" noise whenever you get a text or a call or something? Yeah. All the freaking time.

back in high school, i was in my biology class and it didn't start yet, but it was just about to, and out of nowhere my phone starts ringing- it was on "drop it like its hot" and i was like wtf. i thought i put it on silent, and i just sent it to voicemail by hittin a buton on the side, and then like 2 seconds later they called again. it turned out it was some bank in canada. i don't know how they got my number, but my teacher didnt' care she didn't even realize i was on the phone.

another time just recently my phone rang right before my quiz started and it was playing number one- pharell feat. kanye west and she just smiled and my class laughed and that was that. but still argh i hate that when that happens i usually remember to shut off my phone or put it on silent.
