Considering the fact that that the PSAT is on a scale from 60-240.. your score is definitely not stellar. If I were you, I'd definitely start studying hard.

What? He overshot it by about a thousand points, hahah.
Do you mean 122?
Oh yeah, I scored a 180 on it and I didn't even study for one second. (Just to see how I'd do without studying.)

^He probably did mean 122, but 1220 is the predicted score for the SAT according to his score in PSAT.
Anywho, to be frank, that's low. SAT books are God-sends, $20 at Barnes & Noble.

You really want to study ur butt off for the PSAT because it can get you free college lol. I really regret not studying for it because our cutoff was like 205-211? or so for National Merit Semifinalist, and I only got a 194. Even to this day I sit and wonder about what coulda been lol. Seriously, its more important than the actual SAT so study hard my friend.

Wtf is the point of getting a national merit if your REAL SAT sucks balls to the point where you cant even get into the college. DEE DEE DEE!!

Don't turn this into an argument over the importance of PSAT vs. the importance of SAT, you guys.

Sorry to say, but the impact of doing exceptionally well on the PSAT will have a bigger effect on things like scholarships and and even acceptances into certain programs in some situations. Im in Engineering Honors at my school and I know people that got sub 2000 scores on the SAT that got in due to their PSAT success
Im not saying that the SAT is completely useless, but you can have a 2.0 GPA and get a 2400 on the SAT and many schools wont even think twice about accepting you. The main thing that differs the two is that you can take the SAT as much as you want to. You only get one true shot at the PSAT. So if you aren't at your best, then theres nothing you can do about it.

Well, this is my sophomore year. I can take it again next year but study for it, so it's all good.
And plus, I know the format of it now.
