How do you guys wash your bras? I'm wondering because on the bra, the label says that you have to hand wash it because some bras can get messedup or could be ruined if you put it in a normal washing machine.
sprezzatura
Regular washing machine, I put them in this laundry net thingy...
HakunaMatata
It depends what the fabric is. Lingerie should be put in a lingerie bag (basically a netted bag), but otherwise you just wash them as you would anything else. :]
multifaceted
I just stick to sport bras and throw them with the other white clothes. I'm too lazy to worry about fabric things. =D
SandRAWRz
i put it in the washing machine..but some of them i handwash it
Stefanny
Really, it depends on what the tag says. All of my bras' tags say to machine wash...
xBUTTMUNCHx
it really depends on the fabric, if you have something nice, then you should hand wash if you dont want to mess up the fabric...
voguelove
i throw them in the wash..even though you really arent suppose to.

but, i let them air dry.
annonymous.
I just dump it in the same ol' washing machine. I'm too lazy to handwash it. xD
mishyerr
i machine wash + dryer.

they are usually fine.. most of my bras have lasted a while. ^_^
michellerrific
I just throw it in the washing machine.
tokyo-rose
Washing machine for me, too.
WHIMSICAL 0NE
It depends on the fabric and structure and yadda yadda yadda

Typically you get more "milage" if you hand wash them because it's not as tough on them as machine washing and drying. I machine wash most of mine. Expensive ones I don't.
synthase
i just put it in the washing machine..
but is it better to handwash or something?
just wondering
mznikki
I put them in the washing machine
Broken Wonderwall
i handwash them but sometimes my brother accidentally puts them in the washing machine. pinch.gif
SimplicityGirl
Er I handwash mine most of the time. I'd throw them in the washing once in a while to give them a rinsing action that can't be done by hand.
devaani
Regular Wash.

Why Make Washing Bras Complicated ?

huh.gif
Intercourse.
Usually regular machine wash. Although you need to make sure you put it on gentle cycle if you don't have a lot of clothes with them because my grandma decided to wash my clothes for some odd reason and completely totaled my really good bra once pinch.gif
angelrevelation
Regular washing machine, gentle wash, i think. shrug.gif my mom does the laundry. My bras aren't delicate or anything. They're mostly cotton or elastic.
RCKstarh
washer then dryer. dats not a problem is it? I thought dats wut everyone does
PINAYSTER
as long as they're clean.. i put them in the laundry machine _smile.gif
KissMe2408
There should be a handwash or gentle cycle option for your bras. Be sure to put the spin speed off or on low, and set the appropriate water temperature settings.
You might have to hang up the bras to air dry in your shower, instead of putting them in the dryer. It all depends on how delicate they are.
But your dryer should also have some special delicate settings.
5ayuri
Put them in the washer but not dryer.
Kathleen
I throw mine in the river.. mellow.gif
Blaqheartedstar
i guess it depends on where u buy them, and how much u pay... cheap bras... are usually washed in the washing machine...
PB1990
We have this machine that is just like drycleaning or you can use it to steam it is realy cool anyways I just hang mine in it and dryclean them. thumbsup.gif
APairOf_IrishEyes
I wash 'em in the washing machine and dry 'em in the dryer.

RAWRstephishere
i have crappy bras, so i just use the washing machine, anyways, thats what my mom does. So i dont want to be like 'can you hand wash my bras?'

weird.
EmoEyelinerx
Washing Machine
iDecay
I hand-wash them. Most of mine would get effed if I bothered putting it in the machine.. I don't like ugly looking bras. sad.gif I can care less about sports bras, though.
deplorable
i never wash mine....

no. i hand wash them.
stephinika
Depends on the bra. For the nicer ones, handwash. Older cotton ones I put in the washing machine.
GhettoChic

fathomlessdame

A washing machineee.
If I'm doing it wrong and they shrink, at least I can convince myself my boobs are growing. shrug.gif
x_curse_of_the_curves_x
I hand wash. They are so expensive I would die if they got messed up in the regular wash.
LOWinSKANK
i don't wash them for too long in the washer and i use cold water &&put it on gentle, and i don't let it spin for long and thenn they just air dry. but idk.
jesusisthebestthing
bras can last a lifetime...they usually dont because people put them in the washing machine...u should handwash ur bras after 2 or 3 uses
courtn3y
For some odd reason I usually end up buying bras that can only be hand washed. I don't mind but it's just seems like an ongoing thing xP I don't pay attention enough to see if they are machine washable before I buy'em haha

I use one of those net bag type thingys specifically made for lingerie, for my cheaper non-padded bras. for my padded bras and ones I'd like to last for a while longer, I hand wash. and of course, i always air dry...makes them feel softer. whistling.gif
towntown2
Washer and dryer.
Or, for best results, I wash them down yonder by the crick.
KRASiA
One of my strapless melted in the dryer once
