So I heard Angels & Demons (by Dan Brown) is going to be made into a movie as well, following The Da Vinci Code. Anyone else hear anything more about this? I already can't wait.

Well, he did play Langdon in TDVC and A&D is about Langdon so it makes sense to bring him back.

^so? No it wouldn't TDVC was a terrible film and and Tom Hanks was a terrible pick (though a great actor). Great actors can be great but not at all movies. And I don't think Tom Hanks would be good for this movie..mostly because I don't like him. lol

^ Yeah, but look at Interview With the Vampire and Queen of the Damned. They used two different LeStats. Although the latter bombed at the box office, I think that Stuart Townsend fit the role better than Tom Cruise.

Tom Hanks already played Langdon in Da Vinci Code, so obviously they're using him again.

Well, IWtV was in 1994 and QotD was in 2002 so that's quite a few years apart whereas TDVC was only last year.

OH MY GODDD that was the best book ever, I loved it. I'm trying not to expect much from the movie, though. Books are always so much better. The Da Vinci Code movie sucked, IMO. I'm hoping Angels & Demons won't.

Most major motion picture books-to-movies get effed up...
It's a shame, I liked Angels and Demons MUCH more than The Da Vinci Code.
