I am helping to run a music MySpace page, and after redoing it, half of the page is "missing".
The bottom half of the layout shows up but immediately disappears. It sometimes reappears on mouse rollover but immediately disappears again.
It views correctly in Firefox. It only has the problem in IE (and I have tried it on several computers). I am almost sure it has nothing to do with how many windows are open, etc.
The thing is, when I delete a lot of the info/graphics in the Band Bio section, it works (on the right side). But these graphics are needed. There are also 2 videos in the influence section and one in the sounds like section which is causing it to happen on the left side of the profile as well. (But I cannot delete these videos as the artist wants them).
I need to resolve this as quickly as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Okay... there's probably too many graphics for your computer's memory. Could you submit a link to your page? There are ways to compress the files down so that they won't take up that much space.

I've tried it on several computers. It does the same thing everywhere.
Do you think it could have to do with the fact that I used an editor and it's a music page?

Perhaps. Anything's possible. Could you post a link?

I would, but I'm not sure if I can. I'm actually at work right now.
I just want to go ahead and figure out why this is happening. I tried to see if it was in the code of the items I was putting in, but no matter what I put in after this certain point, everything below it disappears.

I just wanted to check with my browsers to see what my computer does to it.
When you say that you delete the graphics and it works fine, it has be somethign to do with the amount of them on your page. Do yoy have a way of saving them as .gif files? Those take up the least amount of space both on your compy and your browser.

The band has total control of that. I don't. :-/
But even words are disappearing, and the actual tables/modules. It's just completely transparent there.
I saw someone with the same problem that posted here a few pages back, but the replies there didn't help me.
Is there a limit to how much text/graphics you can have?
I've seen people with MUCH more, but I really need to figure this out. I'd recode, but everything looks so great except for that. I don't want to redo it.
(Thank you so much for helping, btw.)

It depends on you internet connection and your computer. Myspace has been having some troubles lately, and depending on how long it takes to load the graphics, the connection might slightly time-out.

Thanks.
Like I said, I've used several computers, fast connection.
But maybe it's just MySpace, but it's been happening for a while now.
I wish I could explain it better. Maybe I did? But just incase...
It's like, take your profile. Cut a rectangular box out of it. You have things at the top, things at the bottom, and a big gap in between (that originally loads and shows up but then goes away).

I know what you mean - and actually, I've having some errors right now with myspace.... I think the server is bogged down. Myspace can be slow

It was something in the code.
I deleted it and started over, and it works fine now.
