Have you ever been sooooo close the next grade up/down? In English I had a 80.4% and in Spanish a 80.0%. sweating.gif But I've had an 88% before and it really upset me for a while.

My parents won't be happy, but I will accept as many freaking _-'s as I can if it means my grade doesn't go down.

yes. a 96.97 percent in science which on my report card stated as an A. not A+
tininja
YES! Of course. XD.gif I have a 82% in Algebra.. sweating.gif I'll get a 4.00 for the class then becuase it's honors. XD.gif

I HATE PLUSSES, THOUGH! I got 89% in Social Studies and my teacher wouldn't give me a break. _dry.gif

A+ is literally 100% for me. That's how my teachers do it. pinch.gif

Yes, i've had like those 89.6 or above grades before. They rounded it though. I think i got one last semester? I don't really remember..
Gigi
Yeah, it's happened to me, but a few years ago. These few years I've been getting high enough marks not to worry about getting over the grade. But usually, if you're getting 85.0-85.4%, teachers will bump you up to an 86% (which is an A here).

THAT'S SO NOT FAIR. HONORS=4.0?

It would be counted as a 3.0 at my school for honors classes....

Only AP and IB classes are weighed higher. So If I get a B in an AP class (which I did), I get a 4.0, but for English honors (which I have a B too) I get 3.0...

Darn. Then I guess if my grades go to your school, I would probably get higher than a 4.0 GPA mad.gif
tininja
^ Well, since I go to middle school.. Yes. We only have honors and regular classes. The scale for honors is like..

A= 5.0
B= 4.0
C= 3.0
D= 2.0

I hate when that happens. I always get grades like 89, 79 or anything ending with a 9. One point. stubborn.gif Just one point makes the whole thing look so much better.
My Cinderella.
I almost failed my math test. I got a 66.6% (Talk about unlucky sweating.gif) two points down, I would've failed.
emazing
I had an 80.2% for English1A.
Jeng
yea so close to an A- but I got stuck with a B+
voguelove
i was a 89.97 one time.

she wouldnt round.
shortcake
i had a 89.92 for my us history semester grade, and he didn't round it up to an A- he left it as a B+. grr.
Gigi
^ Wait, so you guys have up to 2 decimal places for your final marks?! That's crazy. Our school always round to the nearest whole number.
whorify
It was some bullshit, my grade was a 79.89 or something, I could have had a B... but this teacher is an a-hole. Stupid CALSTATE FULLERTON FILIPINO CLUB PRESIDENT.

Haha I had Demmert for 1A freshman year too. I had like a 90.2 first semester....a B the second. Good luck rolleyes.gif ..

My parents freak when I get A-'s. :|
I always have to get high A's or A+'s.
monxcheri
i was really bad in honors geometry, and by the end of the semester, i had an 89.4.

i told my teacher a little sob story and turned on the water works, and she finally gave me a 90.

thank god i love to act.

My dad used to want me to always get A's or A+'s but now I'm getting older and he realizes its getting harder(I'm in college now) so he's not fliping out as much. Like one of my classes I got an A- on one of my papers, but that feeling, Kaycee that you're talking about omg I'm happy if i do get a __- if i'm on the verge of getting a lower grade.
mzkandi
When it comes to math it's always like that. I hate math and I'm not good at it at all. Like last quarter I came out of the class with an 80.2%. I was like, whew! sweating.gif
ksoyeah
Mine is always like that.
My geometry honors grade was a 79.79%, and I was all like...grr. xD She didn't round.
My history grade last year was a 89.89%, and since I got all political, he didn't round it up.
