None of my friends' online now icons show. This seems to be my computer only and not their profile settings. When I log in from a different computer I can see that a specific friend is online but on my computer (at the same time) it shows no icon. I can't seem to find help about this anywhere. It all used to work fine some months ago. I'm just tired of not knowing who is online at the same time as me. I think it stopped shortly after I installed firefox, which I no longer have.

It may be your internet settings, but you said it doesn't work on another computer either? It may be because they have their own settings set to not display the online now icon. There's nothing you can really do if that's the case.

it does work on other computers. i can see them online from my dad's laptop but not on my pc. i've messed with my net settings and nothing seems to make a difference.

What kind of computer does your dad have? If its the same kind, try matching up the settings the same with what his settings are.
