<u><b>Biography</b></u>

Raised in Brampton, Ontario, C-Zero always stood apart from the crowd. Even in his early elementary school years, C-Zero consistently
demonstrated a remarkable maturity and intelligence far beyond that of others his age. Besides being a quick learner in and out of the
classroom, C-Zero was always a careful observer of his surroundings and quickly developed a dispassionate eye for the world around him.
By high school, C-Zero was already a strong-minded individual who took pride in his independence, often risking solitude in order to
challenge the social constructs he was being led to believe in. At 15, he started writing poetry at the encouragement of a few close friends.
Little did C-Zero know, however, that he was embarking on a journey to self-discovery; as he scribbled down free verse pieces whenever he
could, sharing his work with his friend, Jenn, his writing developed into an inspirational vocation. In 2005, he recorded his first freestyle
tracks with local and international artists, as "C-Zero". After working with local producer/artist, Droopy, of On Da Grind Entertainment,
Droopy signed C-Zero to the ODG Entertainment record label. From then on C-Zero improved his skill and style with every written and free
verse track.
Anxious to be heard, C-Zero released his debut mixtape, "Killaz N Blood Spillaz" in June 2005 as a 17-year-old with a mere few months of
professional experience. With the aid of solid, consistent production, C-Zero strived to maintain a balance between positive message and
enjoyable music for the duration of the mixtape. Looking back, the daring decision to press the release paid off in a major way: the "Killaz
N Blood Spillaz" mixtape not only saw sales in the city, but also received positive feedback and reviews from local artists, fans and
websites alike.
Dedicated to his continued progression, C-Zero, along with his ODG crew, then released a few copies of "Cant Knock Da Hustle" an original
compilation mixtape of tracks by all of the artists on On Da Grind Ent, to promote the upcoming release of Droopys and Tempos albums.
Garnering high praise from several publications, the ODG mixtape represents a significant step forward for the young emcee and is a tribute
to his play-no-games, spit-no-gimmicks mentality, showing off his creativity and flexibility in terms of both style and concept. He will soon
be releasing his End of Da Tunnel album featuring artists like, Jaleesa, Droopy, Tempo, MC Marsonist, Shook, T-Money and many more.
C-Zero looks to start 2007 with a bang. Having made quite a mark over the past year, it's clear that C-Zero isn't wasting any time to
establish himself as one of the premiere emcees in the area. With diverse production from Droopy, and Tempo, the upcoming year looks to be C-Zeros hottest one to date as highlights range from infectious b-boy anthems to touching slow jams to rugged punch-line driven raps.
While it's still early in the game for the ever-confident lyricist, his tracks have already received numerous spins on internet radio
stations across North America and Europe. In the coming months, look for C-Zero as he grinds relentlessly on the local scene to promote his
album and upcoming releases, and continues to improve on his technical skills. In addition, C-Zero will be appearing on several
collaborations later this year including tracks with Killer Mike and production from Heatwave Productions.
Along with dropping albums C-Zero will be the hosting DJ for many upcoming mixtapes on the local scene. C-Zero is working on organizing
playlists to mixing and blending tracks and even the occasional screwed and chopped mix. You can catch DJ C-Zero at clubs and events handing out mixtapes for free during his shows and parties. Be sure to catch one soon!
