I thinks it's weird how Americans call fringes 'bangs' O_o

I've had them for about 2 years now. But I try to change them around every once in awhile, such as making them thicker, thinner, shorter, etc.

Yeah. I've had 'em for like, 3 or 4 years now.

But I've been pulling them back lately because it's gotten a bit long and I don't feel like cutting them.

And I know what you mean about the pimples thing. >.<

the reason why a lot of people get side bangs is to prevent getting pimples as much as you get from regular straight bangs. but i guess nowadays folks just get them for the looks. practically everyone has them now o; they're pretty convenient and go with a lot of hairstyles.

I got my bangs cut shorter, so I think I'm keeping mine for a while.
The only thing that annoys me about my bangs is the fact that they grow so fast. ._.
I have to trim them myself every week or week and a half.

not anymore. i used to, but it really didn't work out with curly hair. well not for me at least. and it was a pain when you play 12908324 sports like i do, and when you're track coach doesn't let you wear a headband to keep your hair back.

I have side bangs for a reason. That reason is that I have a scar on my left forehead and that I have a huge forehead.

But it's grown long, so it's really just a part of my layers.

I'm growing my hair out, then cutting it at the end of summer, and I don't know if I'm going to get side bangs along with it...

Yeah, I kind of have them, but they're growing out a bit. I need to trim 'em up. I didn't get them because of the "trend" or whatever, I've tried many different hairstyles...normal bangs straight across, no bangs[hair all one length] with it parted in middle & then parted on side...then I tried side bangs. It just looks best :D

Deffinatly, i've had them for 3 years and it looks soo much better.

I had them last year and they were pretty good to me for about half the year.

then something weird happened and they kept getting in my face (it hadn't done that before)

finally before the year ended i just pinned them down, so it didn't look like i have bangs anymore, but just a side part.

LET ME TELL YA:

A lot of pimples went away after I moved all of that hair, and I was able to function better.

I cut my bangs again, but about eyebrow length.

I haven't ultimately decided what to do with them.

i do have side bangs... i hate that they're "scene" or "emo" or whatever now... i've had side bangs since the turn of the millenium and i love them! they're flattering for my facial structure, they're easy to keep outta the way, and they allow for lots of fun coloring experiments i think people place WAY too much importance on the "hot trends" and not enough on what ACTUALLY looks good on them... i love fashion as much as the next girl, but to take "what's in" totally to heart is just rediculous! DON'T BE A LEMMING! BE YOUR OWN PERSON! IF "THE IT THING TO DO" WAS TO RUN AROUND IN A PAPER BAG, WOULD YOU DO IT?!?!

I have had them for a year and a half now.
I look weird with no bangs at all, and abit odd with straight ones. So I stick with the side.

I used to have side bangs when I had bangs but I grew out of my bangs by now, as I have my side bangs.

I had sidebangs for almost 8 months, but then I cut them off and got regular bangs. It's very 60s and I love it. :D

basically side bangs are longer and parted to the side, while bangs are shorter and more blunt.

i still have side bangs to this day but theyre long enuf to be put into a high pony tail at night.

I see a lot of people with regular bangs now... but side bangs are still really popular.. I have kinda sidebangs but I'm going to grow them out.. *cheer*

i have sidebangs. they're a bit too long now, i'm overdue for a trimming.

I was thinking on getting the tyra banks look. really long, staright, one layer, hair with bangs just a quater of an inch before your eyeballs. i think that look is kind of sixties mod. i really like them but i am scared to get them because i have layers in my hair. and i am afraid the whole mod look wont work with layers :/

I think sidebangs are very flattering on most people, regardless of whether they're "in" or "out". I don't think they're the kind of thing that will officially go out of style. I think a middle or slightly off-centre part looks FABULOUS on some.

This is really popular around here. Some girls look ok with it, but a lot dont.
