I'm a total newbie when it comes to myspace layouts and after about 4 hours of messing around with CSS and Div's I finally made my very first layout:

Any tips? Oh yeah is there a way to make the comments show on the same page after hiding them to create the div layout?

I like it, it's nice and simple. Maybe add a bit more CSS (for the links and such).
Oh, and to make it so your comments can show change the current code you used to hide the default layout to this one:
