Yes, PM an administrator: Mona or Kiera.
And ask them to change your username.

I can see why you wouldn't like your name, its reallyyyy long.

As stated you have to contact an administrator. Administrators are the only people that can change usernames so don't mess up and PM a head staff person instead.
