If you didn't know, Alicia Keys is going to be in at least two movies in the next year: Smokin' Aces (where she plays an assassin) and the movie adaptation of The Nanny Diaries. How well do you think Alicia will perform in her new career as film star?

I think she'll be pretty good in both. She was fantastic in "You Don't Know My Name" and "If I Ain't Got You" (that scene where she totally broke down after her boyfriend was arrested was amazing).

Hm, an assassin? Kind of hard for me to picture her like that. I'm not making a comparison but Beyonce crossed over successfully. So hopefully it's in the cards for her.

Alicia is my girl but I gotta see more than a few movie previews before I can truely take her seriously as an actress. Assassin, huh? Sounds sexy.

Well, I didn't see the movies but I heard they were really good so I'm guessing Alicia Key's did a fine job. Where is she from nationality wise?

I wouldn't want to judge anything yet since I have never seen her act, but I want her to stay as a musician instead of crossing over like Beyonce.

I actually liked her in Nanny Diaries. I mean, there wasn't much to the role, but she did good with what she was given.

I didn't watch the 2nd movie, the Nanny's Diaries, but I'm sure she acted really well cause the movie Smokin' Aces, I thought Alicia Keys was hot. She acted out very fine and well!! I'm hoping to see her more in action movies!

Wow, old topic. I DID see Smokin' Aces, and I thought the movie was funny. You could really tell, though, that Alica Keys isn't an actress.
