There could be a way to save Sirius Black in his death in the 5th book. They could use a time turner to save his life, however, maybe all the evil people could like get away with everything. Maybe even Voldemort might get even more powerful, but still it is a good idea, is it not?

Anyone has anything to say with this?

I think that there should be a witch hunt and they all die.

If there was such thing as a time turner or w.e, then the dark forces could've just used it to get voldemort's power back sooner, dontcha think?

I hope they bring him back somehow. Sirius Black is so cool. I pictured him so differently from the movie, though. Eek...that's what you get with books. Although I didn't know it was pronounced like "serious".

I don't think they'll just use a time-turner to save his life. BUt I do think that the veil will be incredibly significant in later book/s. I reckon that he's not just gonna die...something is going to happen after he 'died'...but he won't be brought back.
I would say more. But then I would go off into a tangent that would have to do with ROn instead of Sirius...um. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter =)

Yeah, I agree. The veil, itself, wasn't explained. But like what they said, Sirius's death was not a big scene because Rowling wanted it to be as real as possible.

Actually.. it would be amazing because many of the death eaters are in the Ministry of Magic and Hermione did receieve her timeturner with permission from the Ministry of Magic, if so, wouldn't the death eaters grabbed hold of it, already? Hmm?

They could have used the timer turn, but don't you think it would change everything? What happened to Black was a major part in the book and to change that is changing everything. I don't know, I just think that what happened to him happened for a reason and without it nothing would be the same. He was a great character, I want him to come back but then everythings so different. You know?

He confuses me b/c i dunno if he is bad or good. He is working for voldemort and trying to kill harry, but at the same time, he is harry's godfather and would never want to hurt him. It's like he has two minds in one brain. I never read the books because it got boring, but I watch the movies since I don't have to get confused with what happens and what the characters look like in the books and then see what they look like and what really goes on in the movies.

It is true that Rowling had to kill him. he was the coolest character though, but that's just my opinion.

yeah agree with it, what's been stopping the dark forces from using the time turner, in the third book dumbeldore (sp.?) mentions that it's very dangerous to use the time turner and that it would be breaking many rules. but i do think that we havn't heard the end of sirius black yet

The point of the time turner is your not supposed to screw with time, its for little things like Hermione uses it for. If they went back and used it to bring Sirius back, then so many different little things could be messed up.

One for example, how they gonna bring him back. Just have Harry, Ron, and Hermione appear in front of original Harry, Ron, and Hermione to pull a confused Sirius away. It would never work and someone would end up killing their future self. Sirius is dead I say.

On my other opinion, the 5th book sucked. I waited I think 3 years for that book and when it came out, I went and bought it. It was terrible, very badly written. I think JK Rowling became more interested in her money then her writing.

the movie was so messed up...i pictured him in a totally different way that actually made sense but ever since i saw the movie i forgot how i used to picture him...i also thought you pronounced his name sir-eye-us...he's so cool...it sucked that he did die...but it probably happened for the best...
