Which company do you have or would go through for cell phone service? Which one has the best service? Im looking to get a "real" cell phone cause I have crappy VirginMobile and its just eating up my money like crazy.

I have Cingular.
Even though they claim no dropped calls, i get them all the time. Blah. I want Verizon. supposedly they're super in my area

I like CIngular. It works great in my area. Mobile to mobile. =]

I would have to say either Cingular or Cellular South. At the moment I have Cingular, and everything is working out great. I haven't had a dropped call at all.

i love tmobile. but its serivce like the network isnt that strong in some parts of my area. but if you are looking for good connection service verizon is the way to go but i hate their phones. if you want some where in the middle with a good plan and service its cingular. but i advise tmobile cause i think their plans are very friendly.

I have Cingular.

I usually get good signal around my area, but I also get dropped calls, it's either that, or people just hang up on me, lol.. I don't know :\

I sort of have to say Cingular.

My parents own a cellphone company under Cingular. So once I'm 18, I'm co-owner =/

No, although I do get in trouble when my phone bill is high cuz the company pays for it.

Like that time my bill was about 2K, I mean 200 whistling.gif

I use Cingular network, it works great. But a lot of people dislike their service. I haven't had any problems with them yet.

No one's said T-Mobile yet. =\ It's the service I have and the one I like best. I hardly ever get dropped calls and the service is pretty good even when I'm inside buildings, so yeah.

^ Yeah, It's your area.

Mine is Verizon. It's the BEST in my area. T-mobile.... Tsk tsk tsk. My cousin used to have TMobile and when she's in class, she doesn't get jack connection. I get at least 3 bars + in my classroom with Verizon. _smile.gif

I use Cingular. I've been using Cingular since I was in 5th grade, they've made a lot of changes. It really depends on your location though because everyone used to want Cingular but they put a US Cellular tower in and now you can get really good service if they're your carrier.

I would prefer Cingular, T-Mobile has too many dropped calls and there's no reception in most places. (like inside a building or a community...)
MasterNe0
Cingular in terms of service is good (except that their customer service is horrible, U better hope you never get any trouble with your service cause you going to be talking to a very angry customer representative the last time I talked to one of them) and they are always coming up with new ideas like 3G (like having speeds faster then dsl or cable ever had on your mobile phone) and I never had a drop call. I worked at a cell phone store and never had any complaints about cingular. Also they have rollover minutes which is great. T-Mobile is good if you live on the east coast like in NYC cause they don't have a wider range like Cingular. However, Their customer service is great, very friendly and their plans are cheaper.

T-Mobile, I have my reasons. I mostly use my cellphone outdoors, so I get awesome reception, I never had any dropped calls, the only problem with it is I can't have it with me when I'm in the basement, minor problem though. Plus they have awesome plans!

I have TMOBULSHIT and I hate it. They constantly drop my calls. I thought maybe it was just something that was happening in my area, but no, I know a lot of T-Mobile customers that have had periodic problems with dropped calls. I would really like to go to Cingular because I haven't heard many customers complain about them, plus, they have rollover minutes.

*their customer service is great
*tmobile to tmobile minutes if you have a family plan
*2 million customers by 2005

Hmm, my family tends to change service providers after our 2 year contracts.
My first phone was with Cingular, but I thought it sucked so we changed to Verizon.
Cingular stunk because I got horrible reception.
Now I've been using Verizon for about a year and my phone is dying on me. I call a lot because of security reasons, so I kind of use up my family plan minutes. We have 4 lines sharing 700 minutes and altogether it is about 90 dollars.
As of now, I want to switch back to Cingular because of one phone I want.
I've checked out T-Mobile, around where I live, it's superior. There is good reception, outdoors, indoors, even underground. Plus I like the new myFavs thing.
Oh, and I've always wanted a Nextel Walkie-Talkie, but there are no Family Plans for that and I heard it's shit.
If there was any way I can get an indivisual plan myself, I'd get either T-Mobile and Cingular.
