Hey, I've been through that. My girlfriend was a junior and I was a senior and we were worried as well. Now I'm a freshman, done with my first semester, and she's a senior applying to colleges, and guess what? We're still together. I thought it was going to be tough, but it really wasn't. Long distance relationships are mostly based on trust, and communication. You need to trust one another, and make sure you don't break each other's trust. Communication is important as well. Let each other know how your day was, how you feel on this certain subject, etc etc.
Also, it's all about compromises. I don't go out partying or to bars that often because I don't want to do something that might jeopardize my relationship.
a)How adorable!!
and
b)Seon Ho has really touched on all the important aspects on what will make this work. You can't be in a long distance relationship, or any for that matter, without having trust and communication.
That being said, sometimes people do just drift apart and it's best to break up. Best of luck!
