hey everyone. i really love to write poetry and i was wondering what you think. can you like rate it on a scale from one to ten please? here it is.......................

so simple

you say it's so simple
but i can't wear that dimple
that stays plastered on your face
but all i'm doing is running in place

you say that i'm all alone
but at least i'm not a clone
of all those people
and don't act like i have their seiple

you say that i'm immature
but that just proves it
i always knew that you were insecure
and now you have lost that old wit




like a shield

you wear that mask
like a shield
conseal your eyes
and always yeild
i sould warn you
life is slipping away
but you cannot see
what your life
was meant to be
you know i'll catch you
to break your fall
but i can't always be there
on your call





i have tons more that should be saved on my computer, but my computer is being evil. i'll add some other poetry some time soon!!

lol. thanks. i like the first one too, but the second one is better, i do agree. i turned like a shield in for an english project and i got an 85% on it. come on now. it's better than that! i hate mrs. wells. she's the evil english teacher.

my hell hole

i'm all alone
in this hell i call home.
i'm trapped inside these walls
while walking down these halls.
clutching my last bit of hope
and trying to hold the last inch of rope.
my fingers are numb
this isn't how it begun.



make me cry

as the tears
roll down my cheeks
you look away
while my heart leaks

how could you say
those painful things to me
like you don't care
like you can't see

i cross my heart
and hope to die
you cut my heart
and make me cry

you walk away
and don't look back
as i stare at my hands
and try to accept this sad, sad fact


it's over

you think you know me
but you don't know jack
you say you love me
but you don't write back

you leave me alone
and when my heart aches
without turning back
without a care on your face

not one sign of love
so please let me go
because you're too capable
of that last painful blow


don't say no

i stare into those great, blue eyes
and wonder why i ever tried
to find something this new
with someone who isn't you

i can't believe i walked away
from you on that bleak, ol' day
now please forgive me while i say
"i love you baby. just let me stay."

now i know how wrong i was
when i left without a cause
so hold me tight
and don't let go

i love you baby. don't say no.
