im so depressed now.. i mean like i have this cousin.. shes the same age, same grade, same school, same gender..but the problem is, shes better than me in every way... the onliee thing i CAN beat her in is sports... athletics...
it seems like she gets everything. shes like the smartest person in the grade.. and im like her shadow, always the second best. in 5th grade, she beat me for president .. of student council.. and just yesterday.. she beat me for 8th grade chairperson of student relations..
i mean no one knows how i feel. i feel like i cant ever do anything. i cant ever win. i cant ever be first. like everything i want most, diane gets.. and sometimes she doesnt want it that bad. she gets everything.
its like not fair. like.. i thought i had a chance of winning because like all my 6th n 7th n 8th grade friends told everyone to vote for me..but she still won..
sometimes i wish i wasnt here..

aaww im sorry! i sumtimes feel like that with my bro!! he has musical talent... which i dont... he's MR. POPULAR! and he's only 11!!!!!! even though you didnt win.... be happy that you tried your best!!! you probaley worked harder than she ever did!!! be proud of yourself!!

It sucks that ther eare times wher eyou feel like you'll never win.. because you're always compared to her.. Yea sure I am sometimes compared to my sister, but not really that much at all. I don't know what to say... Does this diane (your cousin) rub it in your face, like gloat about her popularity and her success? If so, then maybe the only reason she tries so hard is to rub it in your face idk. That could happen. But yea if she doesn't well.. She can't be better thank you at everything.

aww im sorry, dont worry i can kinda relate, im alwaiz being compared to my mom's friend's children and my older sister. But everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Not one person is good at EVERYTHING. Besides your good in athletics, thats sumthing to be proud of!!!! i wish i was good in athletics Feel better soon

well, i cant sit down and talk to her bout it cause everytime i tell her that i feel that shes always gonna be better than me and everything she says that shes not.. she says that she doesnt get everything.. but she really does. and like some people have told me that theyre jealous of her ..

you shouldn't let it get you down so much. you're still very good at things and it's good that you strive to be the best .. but sometimes being the best isn't everything .. she's not you and you shouldn't compare yourself to her .. she has good qualities and capabilities -- as do you .. so don't think its some battle with who's number one .. just be satisfied with the fact that you've accomplished many things even if you may not end up being first place in all of them ..
