This have been happening to me for about 4 yrs now.. it's not all the time though.. it used to happen alot at my old house.. but now i moved it always comes and go. It's hard to describe it.. but the feeling of it was like someone is pushing against my chest making it hard for me to move, breathe or even open my eyes. U have to wiggle a toe or a finger to break loose. I used to hear voices while it happens.. (goose bumps). It haven't happen to me for about 6 months til 2 nights ago.. but this time was worse.. it was soOO strong! I told it to STOP. And it did.. iono.. i think i'm goin crazy.. hahaha but if u click on the link.. there's more info about it.. but yea.. i just wanna know if happens to anyone else..?

I agree.. it is VERY scary.... after i get out of it.. i go turn on my lights.. oh yea i forgot to mention that one time i have seen a figure..

I've had that a couple times before. It usually happens when im on the brink of sleep..like half dreaming.

Oh man...it really is a horrible feeling.

see that sounds like the "choking ghost". my one friend had it happen to him a couple of times. but someone told me the medical reason for why this happens. but its really too long for me to type it. booger if u wanna know then ill just tell u on the phone. =]

I had that happen to me once... I thought I was like dreaming or something or maybe too tired to actually think about going back to sleep. Man that's scary...

It's happened to me a few times.

Isn't it like you are dreaming, then when you want to wake up, you can't because it's like there is something stopping you? I felt like I lost my breath!

whoa, thats never happened to me...but that sounds creepy. and you just wake up ...AGH there should at least be medicine for it.

Uhm, it hasn't really happened to me, but I do hear strangers calling my name in my sleep. Is that normal? I think I'm the one going crazy and turning into an oddball.

Oh yeah, that totally happened to me a few times. I couldn't move. All I could see was TV snow. It was really weird. I try so hard to move, but can't. It's hella scary.

That happened to me quite a few times.
Maybe its like your mind wakes up before your body does. That's why you can't move.
And vice versa. That's why there's sleep walking/talking/burning()

HOLLY SH!T.. omgomgogm youre getting me really scared its 3:35 am right now, and everyone at my hosue is sleeping.. and when i read 3 sentences of it, i heard a noise.. a clickign noise.. so i stopped reading it

But i dont even watch that much scary movies. I mean... there was this one time... when that happen to my sister... one day she was asleep and she felt that she can't move or breathe.. she tried to get out of it... and then.. when she tried to get out of the room.. she felt something pulling her legs.. it was pullling her back.. she was on the floor tryin to crawl out.. she couldn't reach the door knob.. then finally.. she got it opened.. when i was sitting in the living room.. i saw her face..it was soOo white.. and she was also crying.. that was scary..

yea this happened to me once. plus i had the whole SMP thing mentioned in the article. that was pretty scary. i also heard a girls voice whispering in my ear and buzzing in the background.

apparently it happened to my friend's uncle, who's chinese and wears a piece of jade around his neck. after it happened,

the jade was cracked.

now tat ya mentioned it, finally i've realised tat imma not da only one. coz i seriously thought it was a one time incident. from da facts that were mentioned in here, i have seriously gettin vivid memories of ma experience. i didn't dare asked anyone abt it. once ma momma had to bath me in freaking cold water + ice cubes just to get me conscious coz i was crying out loud during da nite and best part was i was "uncounscious". i dun know how's tat related to but i guess it's an experience. years laterz, i've dwell wit certain beliefs and somehow i believe i can overcome dis. well, it's good to know tat we all can share our experience here. just gotta keep our faith alive and keep da chin up eh?!

It happened to me twice in my life... It's just plain freaky. I heard voices when it happened too. Just that they were all whispering the same thing: "I want your head... I want your head..." I thought I was going crazy until I read about this sleep paralysis thing.

EDIT: I forgot to mention how I woke up and yelled "NO!" with my sword drawn in my hand. I don't really know if I was sleepwalking or if I have that sleep paralysis. Whatever it was, I was freaked out.

my mom told me a story about that they say its a ghost but i dont know lols ok i feel dumb now

Hey have you guy's ever been sleeping and then your mind wakes up but you cannot move your body and you are as stiff as a board? BUT you can hear all the stuff that's going around you like noises around your house or people talking.. I had one of those experiences last week along with a night terror.... they say it's caused by Insomnia.. i have to take sleep aid to make myself fall a sleep.. anyawy's just wondering if anyone has experienced that before...

no. that wasnt happened to me. hmm. not that i can think of . sometimes i have nightmare & when i wake up for like 2 seconds i feel all stiff. but nothing like that happened to you ever happened to me .

Nope. I dont think...but I had a dream where I woke up for school and did some stuff and then the next thing...I really did woke up and then I noticed it was a dream.

hehe yeah i've had some pretty odd dreams like the one you hadOhXiet_ItzDonnA.... dreams are werid, i'm taking a psychology class on dreams at the college i go to. It's pretty interesting, but i still never got my answer on my experince from my instructor lol...... darn people hah. :P
