It's soooo funny the excuses I've heard from girls for not going on a date, it's ridculous and cliche'.
So yea... these are the excuses my friend and I have compiled:
- I have to walk my dog
- I'm having guests over
- I need to take a really long bath
- I don't have enough money
- I'm already taken (when in reality, she's not)
- I have to wash my hair that day... yea..

So yes, do any of theses sound familiar? pinch.gif sheesh girls... Have any of you guys heard different things? I wanna know so that the next time a girl says those things to me, I can say "LIAR!" lolz... happy.gif
whoisbatman
i have a friend who always uses ' i have to do homework "
thinks its funny or something

um, none of that i've heard before. hehe

Guys don't directly ask me out, so I don't get a chance to make up some lame excuse.

But this guy was GOING to ask me out. He told my friend. She told him I was taken. In reality, I wasn't. But I didn't want to go out with him anyways and he didn't bother me after that.

Most girls I know just tell the truth.

And guys, 'I just think of you as a friend' is NOT always a lie. I wouldn't want to go out with one of my friends huh.gif
nyc_korean_hot_boy
-i forgot your phone number (she never forgets people's phone number)
-i was over at my granny's house (her granny lives in korea)
-she said that she was sad because her friend got dumped from her boyfriend (she doesnt really care if her friends get dumped by their boyfriends)
-my mom wont let me out of the house (her mom is really nice and let her go anywhere she wants)
-i have a flu (shes healthy, so she never ever got the cold before)

i've used:
+babysitting
+family day
+cant go out.
but then that's actually the truth...most of the time. the whole washing my hair doesnt help me b/c he said we're close friends and he doesnt really care if my hair is crap. eh =\
goodcharlotte
The "i just got cancer" one is harsh. Tell it to him straight.
SarahxJoy
I've never given any kind of dumb excuse.. blink.gif
Usually if I don't want to go out with a guy, I just tell him that I'd rather be friends and I'm not into him like that.
goodcharlotte
Honestly, telling a guy you don't like him is a lot less harsh than making up an excuse.
SarahxJoy
Well the objective of my telling a guy that I'd rather be friends is to be truthful. It hurts, sure, but it's better than lying about not wanting to go out with a guy and possibly having him find out about it, don't you think?

Wouldn't you want a girl to be honest? ermm.gif

Plus, if you just give a guy an excuse, he could just keep on trying to ask you out and eventually you'll run out of chances. At least with telling him that you'd rather just be friends, will put a stop to that.

Haha exactly what I said. _smile.gif

Umm, I heard this from a friend of mine.

"I think we should be friends". - More like a breakup line.

"I'm busy cleaning".
"I'm grounded". (When there not?)

Yes they do. Friendships and other relationships both.
