Who are your favorite models?
I don't know WHY i'm a fan of models... I just am. I'm fascinated with runway shows and editorials and all that high fashion stuff.
my favorites:
1. Gemma Ward
I think she's really unique looking and adorable. she doesn't try too hard to be "edgy" or change her appearance all the time. She's a natural. And she's THE top model in the industry at the moment.
2. Caroline Trentini
She was in one of the first editorials (in vogue) i'd ever gotten. she has one of the best bodies in the industry, in my opinion.
3. Jessica Stam
Her eyes are really intriguing...
4. Heather Marks
Her editorials are always really pretty.
5. Hilary Rhoda
She has a really strong face and striking features, but isn't so masculine looking like lots of models are.

The only way I've ever caught up with the modeling world is through Teen Vogue, which I don't subscribe to anymore, so I don't recognize a couple of the girls up there, but Gemma Ward and Jessica Stam are gorgeous girls who deserve their fame.

I absolutely love my fellow Canadians at the moment, those being Heather Marks, Jessica Stam, Coco Rocha (Vancouverite, woot!), Tasha Tilberg and Daria Werbowy. And of course, I can never get enough of Julia Stegner, Gemma Ward, Caroline Trentini, Snejana Onopka and Sasha Pivovarova.
Lately, though, I've been fascinated with the recent influx of Asian models (and by influx, I mean two), Hye Park, who's Korean, and Du Juan, who's Chinese. Finally, some representation!

haha coco rocha annoys me... I've just seen lots of backstage videos and she's always like loopy and making these funny faces... Then again, so does Mariacarla Boscono (sp?)
I think Daria is gorgeous! She's one of the few models that actually sways me into buying stuff (like from Lancome) :P
Sasha looks sickly a lot of the time
Same with Vlada Roslyakova. maybe it's just because they always has huge bags under her eyes. that's never a good sign... I think Vlada's gotten even thinner then when she first started, if that's possible.
There's another asian model that's become pretty popular- Ai Tominaga.

stam bothers me, the space between her nose and mouth is a tad big. but i guess that goes with her appeal (i've been kind of irked by her ever since i saw her valentino ads)

I only really pay attention to the VS catalogs. Those are really the only models I know. =P Jessica Stam = Gorgeous. I love her eyes.
