I don't think the actor for Light looks right compared to the way he's portrayed in the manga. I'm very picky about live-action movies. And I know that real-life guys can't look exactly like manga characters (if only ), but still.

Haha, yeah, I heard about L dying from my cousin.

Anyways, I've only watched the few first episodes of the anime. It was extremely boring in the 1st episode, so I was going to quit, but it became interesting later on. To this day, I still never finished. I think I'm like on episode 3 or 4. I probably won't finish it unless I'm extremely bored.

Vinity, you should finish the series! I don't know about the anime, but the manga is pretty wordy because the characters talk a lot. That might put you off, but it's still worth finishing. :D

Mmm Death Note is one of the most interesting shows Ive watched . I couldnt wait for Adult Swim, so I watched it on Broadcaster.com. Really good quality and subs.

I didn't finish watching this anime, but it was very interesting and nice. I really liked it so far!! I skipped some episodes >__<;; I actually liked the dubbed version of Death Note. I never heard the Japanese version one.. actually only 1st episodes >__<;;

I've only seen a few episodes of Death Note but the ones I've seen have been pretty awesome. Like there so f**king smart. I love it!

I LOOOOOOVEEE L. he is my favorite out of death note. i already watched all the episodes (in japanese) the last episode was sad but i loved it all. also i looovve mello.

Light is delightfully evil as he strives for good. I love it.

I like L cuz mainly hes werid... not cuz of that whole emo shit that people normally go for.
He always seem to go head on with Light and at times got him. IT was nice the banter and whole fight for justice Light and L had. When he died i stopped watching it.

My friend recently lent me the Live Action movie. It really different compared to the anime but still good.
Though it bewildered me when they played Dani California in the ending credits

yeah they made Light go to law school. that was new. Waiting for Death Note the Last name and L change the world. LOVED that the voice over actors did the dub for the movie. best thing ever.

anyway i found out on the Manga series. Theres 12 in the set with a 13th book that pretty much goes more into the manga series. Like the characters, their actions... and a whole bunch of other random stuff like what L ate through out his entire run in the book. the toys Near played with and so on.

Theres is also a time line and the whole thing with Misa spanned 2010-2011.
she died 02.14.2011, a year after Light.

Oh yeah the 13th book is called Death Note: How to Read #13

lol i know the dubbing was priceless XD though i couldnt bare to watch it so i switched it to japanese and subs.

Oh yeah i saw the book 13 at one of the book stores and i was tempted to get it but i didnt know how good it would be and plus i didnt have any money on me.

I still don't understand why 'L' is remotely a likeable character. He's a weirdo.

Light still is my favorite character... despite his outcome.

perhaps the whole battle and rivalry between L and Light was the main reason. plus i thought Light after a while got annoying.

the anime deathnote is much better for me than the film...

I've only seen the anime but I loved it! I love the mind games throughout it all. There should be a continuation! I haven't seen the live actions but I think i'm going to in the future :)

The film was so much different compared to the anime. Its still good but a lot different. My friend let me borrow it and i watched it on a school night i want to see the second movie now.

I'll grab the second one if I ever see it when I go to TC again.

hmm... the first movie one was great. i recommend L change the world i think that one was the best!

Death Note is probably the best I have seen yet. My friend and I are having a competition to see who can find the best anime and so far we haven't been able to beat death note.
