i'm not really an expert of html becuz i mostly use php, anyways you guys know you can practice HTML offline right? see you have to have a folder with all the files. And to get an HTML file, get all your html code and put it in notepad, now click Save As and enter the name like this: index.html now you have your html document, you may also save the file with extensions as .php .asp . cgi etc. This is really great if you don't wanna show off your site when it's not done.

nothing. and it doesnt matter if its the first page. if its saved on your computer, its not like its a .com site or anything..

u can do that with any html page, and htm and html are just different extensions for basically the same thing, it's like the extension for jpeg images, .jpg, or .jpeg..
