the only time i got rid of the banner ad was when i had a free premium thing but it took off automatically ^_^ but i will never try to do that! we are lcuky they dont charge us money for it! most sites do

if we are taking away from their revenues by taking off their banner, than how come all of our over 1000 xanga skins are made for non-premium users? that just means that people don't have to buy premium to get good looking skins. so that could be taking away from their revenues, too.

well, if you remove the AD banner, xanga still getes paid for it, it necasrlly is still on your page, just cant be seen... lol well i dont use xanga so i dont care o.0

I kinda agree.
Skins were originall intend for premium users only, but now non-premium users (like me) can use skins which are somewhat probably nicer that those in the skins section in the Xanga homepage.
So if we were actually helping Xanga, we shouldn't be using skins and other scripts anyway. That is rather impossible, well at least for me.

wow... haha, seriously people xanga is NOT going to die from the loss of a few ads, they make crazy money as it is with the popularity of the site, ads pay big price and then the load of fanatics who pay the load of money for premium. it does NOT take much server upkeep for this. i mean, sure theres what, hundreds of thousands of xangas but what is being stored? text and at max 3 pictures, not much at all.... and plus, are you really all going to die if xanga dies?

about crazy money, if xanga is out of money or not making any money. They would shut xanga down cus there is no reason for them to keep it up. It's just going to waste their time.

What script are you talking about?
If you're talking about the Xanga adremover/mover, then sorry, CB does not support either of these scripts.
Ok... So, if we dont get to take the banners off... can we get a code posted that will move the banner to another place on the site so that it will be more layout friendly and not so.... erm ... tacky?? Or maybe a popup?
