It took me about 2 and a half hours in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to create the final product. LINK REMOVED. I always wanted a website of my own and finally a few days ago, I was accepted to be hosted. I really wanted to capture the grunge/antique look of a header image, plus I love The Octopus Project.

Hm. I like it. But right now, I think its a skeleton. The bare bones! I don't mean this to be insulting. Really. I just think it could use some more. Add more images. Move things together. Add brushes. Textures. Something? Just...more.
And I have never heard of that band before. But I would like to say that they're from Texas which automatically makes them like, freaking awesome.

Oh, I see now. Yea, I felt the same way about the images. I wanted to add more and I also had patterns that would blend also, but I'm really concious about being too "out there" or if the header image is too "cluttered" with pictures, patterns, textures, etc.

Well, yes, there is a difference between cluttered and..idk..stylishly cluttered. DUDE. Is stylishly even a word? Damn..gotta send that one off to Webster.
Anyways. Sorry. Uhm. Try adding more? Really. I mean, you can always delete it if it doesn't look good. But really. You're a great designer. And I can just see this as having so much potential. :D

I think its ok, but I find some of the brushes, text, and stuff just random and out of place. Its ok though, maybe add more images? or brushes that fit in better. Idunno play around.

^Toya, I used the band's logo for the name and I loved the text I have for the subdomain name. Thanks for the critique though.

I adore the electrical socket heads.
I think that it's perfect the way it is and really needs nothing further added.

Anyways, I like it a lot, I love all the octopuses everywhere, just cause... I love them.
And the colors are great, I also really like the plug&the picture of them with the sockets on their faces.
The only thing that bugs me is her hair
but that isnt your fault, so good job!
