Hi, I wanted to ask if anybody had any experience with Link Removed - I read this article about it, and it's tempting yet a bit scary .. what do you guys think? _unsure.gif
splitnightsky
personally, I would never get it.
I'd never want to "always have on makeup"
just because I like to change my look every once in awhile.
and I dunno, I wouldn't feel like paying for it ^_^;

I understand why someone would get it,
like if they were allergic to the chemicals and whatever,
but for me, I'm gonna have to say no. :)
angelrevelation
wow... i'd probably get it only to cover up maybe a few permanent blotches or scars i have, but like splitnightsky said, i'd want to change up my makeup when i wanted.
mai_z
makeup styles change....at least every couple years. Unless you want to look outdated all the time, it's probably not such a great idea
x1227x
nahh.. i dont think i would get it because i wouldnt' want makeup on when im sleeping or anything. o_O;; having make up on ALL the time is just a no no for me. so ill have to say "pass!" x]
datass
HOLY CRAP.

Why would anyone get a permanent make up?
thanhmai
This has been around for awhile...

which makes it all the more not to do it.
Ever seen old ladies with tattooed eyes or lips they had done when they were younger so that they could save the time putting eyeliner and lip liner on?

I have. It's ugly.
Hiphop d[-_-]b
I would never. Although I would like having longer eyelashes.
xTINAA
Yeah, this is old.
My mom has this done.
mznikki
i've herd of it and seen it on tv with some of those women who have like 60 plastic surgeries, but i wouldn't do it because as said previously, i'd like to change it up once in a while and styles change.
HelplessCry
My friend works with a lady whose had her eyebrows done. =[
WHIMSICAL 0NE
Yeah, this has been around for a while. I think the only time that it should really be done is with people who have been through Chemo get their eyebrows tattooed on or people with alopecia because it saves them time of trying to perfect it everyday.
Rachel
I know two people with it.

One woman has eyeliner or maybe it's her eyebrows. Her employer has her lips lined and it actually looks pretty natural.
mznikki
oh and my aunts got their eyebrows done and one of them looks like they have purple eyebrows and the other isn't so bad. my grandma also had her eyebrows done, and you wouldn't know it unless she told you. ohmy.gif
misoshiru
it's kinda gross, because after a couple of years, the ink turns green.
mai_z
umm I thnk something went wrong if it turns green...but it does fade
Laughsalot
you mean tattooed on eyebrows and eyeliner and liptstick? ew no.
synthase
im all natural happy.gif
but i know a friend who would want permanent makeup
OhMyAnniee
Ew. I wouldn't.
This reminds me of how people get tatoos on their eyes or something so they don't have to put on eyeliner everyday.
ANG33ZY
that's scary. i don't like.

Would it change with your skin tone? Like, if you got it done when you were kind of fair-skinned, and then you get super tan a while later, would it still be the fair color it was before? That would be so wierd. I would never do that... makeup changes according to mood.
Duchess of Dork
That's where my head is at (mood changes). I'd find it dull to have the same makeup on all the time. Also, I'm a frequent changer or hair color, so one color scheme might not work with the next hair color.

Plus, I'm an advocate of being natural; no surgeries or permenant alterations.
WHIMSICAL 0NE
Well sun exposure can change the color and tint of your tattoo. A tattoo for the purpose of not having to apply cosmetics will fade the same way other tattoos do. They will eventually have to be retouched and will eventually lose the intense pigment they started out with. The colors of the tattoos don't change based on your skin tone... if you get tan and you got the tattoo when you were lighter. Of course, people with darker skin tones usually need to get brighter and more intense colors for them to show up on their skin. But that's more like African Americans.
Mireh
it says link removed.

but yea my aunt has her eyebrows like tattooed.

and i know of people (adults, family friends) that got their eyes tattooed to look like they always have on eyeliner.

i personally think its a waste of money, not to mention unhealthy.
me1issaaaa
I saw this thing on VH1 where celebrities would have their eyelashes permanantly curled and colored black, like a lash perm or something. I thought it looked pretty cool, as long as it didn't get in your eye or anything.
Looow
my mom has her eyeliner top and bottom done.

it looks hella perfect n you wouldnt be able to tell unless she told you
Joss-eh-lime
i think it sounds cool. you wake up and look good.
my grandma has it...it looks totally real.
fagget
My memaw has that done.
Laughsalot
i don't like tattooed on eyebrows. i mean come on. it's our natural eyebrow hair. and having naturaly eyebrow hair is like something of the youth. like as people get old. they lose their hair. including their eyebrow hair. so i like my eyebrow hair thank you very much. i mean plucking it to shape it up is ok but like completely plucking or removing it off...i don't really like it. i'm not so crazy about the whole ink-in-my-face-skin sorta thing.
shortnsweet88
I could never do that...I think its not exactly smart because of how permanant it really is.
brokenxwingsx
It kind of scares me. It looks very grotesque.
