Ok so I have this "Best Friend", but she treats me like shit, she lies to me, and she causes so much drama. I don't want to be her friend anymore but if I'm not her friend she'll cause shit and spread rumors that aren't true and she'll get all of her other 'friends' to talk shit to me. I just really don't to be her friend anymore. Anyway I can close our friendship without her starting drama?

I had a friend like that. She used to tell me we were best friends, but she'd tell horrible lies and start rumors, but never would admit to it. She's pretty much known for stuff like that, and I tried confronting her about it, but she just didn't hear me out. So now I just ignore her. Even if she thinks we're friends, I don't even give her the time of day. Maybe you can do the same. Just don't let them get to you.

Try to start "drifting apart" from her.
If she notices, she'll come to you.
But if she doesn't care, then hey, she ain't your best friend.

If you want to end it, You can't be afraid that'll only show that she has control over you. Just be straight up, I don't want to be your friend. Yeah she may talk shit. and even try to turn people against you. But you can't run away from decisions or problems and try to find an easy way out. Like you said TRUE friends stay with them. If Rumors do come out. Their not True so you shouldn't strss yourself over that. Be strong lolthere shouldnt be any reason why people should act like that if they are friends.

Ah this makes me think of my best friend Tina, she has a friend named April that treats her horribly and calls her names and all types of stuff shes really manipulative or something -shrugs-

The only thing I can really think of that you can do is just ignore her and if she really wants to know the truth then tell her, if she starts rumors then she should have very well learned her lesson from losing you as a friend the first time that you shouldn't do that and if she continues after your not friends anymore then somethings wrong with her and just ignore it. If people really know who she is then they probably won't even listen to her and try ignoring her as well. Shouldn't care what others tell about you.

You know, you can spread shit about her too. You've got an advantage because most of the shit you'll be telling people ( ie: how she treats you like shit and she's unappreciative ) will actually be true. While her stories will probably be made up.
