I would want to date someone different then me, cause if we are to a like I dont think it would work out well...

Well I guess it depends... I mean there are pros and cons.

The pros... The relationship will be interesting. There's always something new to share and to learn. You guys will be able to convince each other to do new stuff each day.

The cons... If you're different personality wise, you'll definitely have different opinions on certain things. And that'll just lead to fights.

Example me and my ex. We were two very different people. We had a lot of fun together. I'm the more tensed kinda person so when we're together, we do fun things. And it's really great coz we could talk about everyhing and anything.

But we had fights. A lot. And these fights were all about pretty stupid things, if you think about it. But not as stupid as fish food. But all these fights effected us. It effected what we thought about each other.

i diffently agree!! but it would be cool if i dated sum1 unlike myself... ill learn alot more!

same here like ashley but she said shed never go out with me or like me so i feel un-special...

i want some diff and opp of me. to complement each other. complement each other's flaws so that it could be like one perfect person. so that we would grow as a person by each other. and learn too

my baby is the complete opposite of me .. that's one of the things that made me extremely attracted to him .. if he were like me it would be too predictable and there's be nothing exciting in our relationship.

Definitely! I am very attracted to bad boys. Lol not that I'm a good girl or anything.

I would actually like to date someone that has many similarities with me so we can freely talk with each other. On the other hand, I do want to have some things that are different so it gives us time to share things the other has not experienced before.

So yes, my ex and I were so different. She liked to go church and help out, I liked to help out in public community stuff. She liked watching love movies (ewww), I liked watching action movies. Different things are good!!! but then again... different things are bad...

Since we had very little in common, when we'd get in a fight about something, she would tell me "You don't understand!!! You like something different than me! You really can't say anything about it!!!!" and blah blah blah... so it'd be a good thing if you had half and half, you know?! you like about the half the same things so that you both will be happy!

Yeah that's the most perfect one. Like my ex and I had a lot in common, we liked a lot of the same things. But personality wise, we were very different. But it's okay coz there's a balance you know?

i would want him to have several similarties but at the same time have differences.. if we were too alike (like seth cohen and anna.. I LOVE THE OC) i think it would get boring and be too predictable like what NvieDi3ai3yGrL said

oh, i never thought about this...maybe someone different, someone kinda the same personality then me but i take her if she's explicitive (maybe lolx), can call herself dirty's girl and can get down and dirty okay maybe not...

I'm not really sure because I would wanna have things in common with the other person but I would date a person different just not too different..

Some things in common are good.. but I mean my bf is alot different than me.. But the coolest thing about dating someone different is... that when You TWO hook up, you both start to talk and you BOTH might find some cool things in common =D And you guys can open up yoru perspective to different views towards things.. like life, love, education, etc. =P

It's different and a challenge i think.

But it;s kinda hard to meet in the center/middle on a dicision I think
