When did you fall in love with hiphop?
For me, it was when I heard Award Tour by A Tribe Called Quest. I had to be no older than 4, but I remember the moment exactly.
But now, its a love/hate relationship with hiphop given what she's producing.

I guess I was catching on to it while my older half brother still lived at the house and played hip hop all the time.
He was around while I was I think 6 to 10. Something like that.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure, actually. When I was just a little kid, I remember the radio bumpin' Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop," and you know it's impossible not to fall in love with hip-hop if you're listening to Lauryn Hill.

"Brenda's Got a Baby" by Pac I think was the first hip-hop song I heard and was really touched by.
I fell even deeper in lover after listening to a few tracks by Mos Def.

I fell in love again when I saw "Umi Says" on VH1 Soul yesterday. That's such an amazing song.
