Okay, I have this really close guy friend. He's my best friend at school. We're Juniors, and we've been good friends since 6th grade.



I told him last week that I like him, after someone asking me in front of him if I liked him. He said that he kinda likes me, and kinda likes a different girl. But he's not sure if he wants to be in a relationship with anyone right now.



So do you think he was just trying to be nice, and didnt want to hurt my feelings by saying that he really doesnt like me? I'm pretty sure he would have told me the truth. I just dont know how to confront him over the whole situation. Should I just forget about him, since he likes another girl too?

he's probably telling the truth & doesn't know who he likes..just give him some time to figure it out..and talk to him about it

Even if he does like you, he says he doesn't want to be in a relationship right now, and if he's doubting something before it's even happened.....

I say just give him some time to figure out what he wants, but don't let this put a damper on your relationship. If you're really curious about it or worried just approach him with it. You guys have been friend's for quite some time, so it might be easier for you to predict how things will pan out. Just mentioned something laid back like "Oh, what was up with that?" so he doesn't feel put on the spot.

He's one of my best friends, and lies to me like that. I bet he was already going out with the girl before he even told me that.

Now I'm tempted to hack into his myspace. Because afterall, thats where I found out about him going out with her, on his myspace status thing. Or maybe that would be a little too harsh?




Well, he knows the girl from his church or something, and I knew before that they hang out in a group with other people. But yeah, it seems like they are now.

Eh. He already knows I know. We had a brief conversation the other day on myspace, and he asked me if I was mad... and I actually said no. Big mistake.

I think I'm just going to ignore him. Only thing is though, our school only has like 20 kids in our grade (11th)... so we're in every class together. So I really dont know how I could just stop being friends with him... even though I want to.
