hmm so how would you react? guys and girls do give your views here! lol
-sincerely
errrm. i don't think you can vote for one and not the others, so i voted. i don't think it matters who tells the other person they like them. if they both like each other, they'll end up together anyway.

A lot of my guy friends tell me that they'd have a lot more respect for a girl if she tells him that she likes him. I guess it'd be stereotypical to say this, but a lot of girls would usually have a friend tell him instead of themselves or just beat around the bush about it.

If you like someone, just let 'em know when the time is right. Guy, or girl.

my guy friends think a girl who says their feelings for them are stupid. =/
they like to make the first move.or they lose their feelings about them

I think it depends on the type of persont he guy is. Some guys will feel "demoralized" that a girl told, while others would be flattered/relieved. I think it really depends on the situation and the guy. I've told guys I liked them, and one went all awkward on me, another didn't do much...we drifted apart. I told my crush I like him...and seeing as we're close friends, I told him that I didn't want anything to change after I told him. Turns out that he liked me too, so nothing changed other than the fact that we're together =]

Wow. ermm.gif

Usually I'd think a guy would like for a girl to let him know how she feels. 'Cause it's "traditional" I guess, that a guy be the one to make the first move, but nowadays it takes some pressure off of the guy for the girl to do just that. Oh well, I agree with SimplicityGirl. It depends on the guy.

erm not sure... i think it depends on the guy actually
the first time i expressed my feelings for a guy was when...
i was pretty much sure that he liked me back also...
cuz we would talk endlessly online/phone for a very long time...
like till 1 in the morning.
so then ya one day i just told him...
but we kept on talking until a few days later he sorta told me that he liked me also. he had to 'decide'. =T
but we sorta broke up cuz i didn't like him anymore but i sorta avoided him so he got the point... coward me. xD

Well, I would tell a guy after I find out if he likes me.

But I hate it when your good friends with a guy and then you tell them you have feelings for them and then they stop talking to you.

Ugh.

^ agree

i would just tell my friend to ask. after i find out, depending on the outcome, i would tell my feelings.

but i sometimes get too nervous pinch.gif
but i dont get crushes much so it's all good. biggrin.gif

back then when I was young I was the sort of
girl that just pounced when I was REALLY into a guy.

If I casually liked a guy I usually just "play it cool"
or something like that until I get better signs that he likes me.
Then I would probably confess..

And to tell you the truth, I don't think I changed much.

I usually like keeping my feelings secret until it's
way beyond the point of obvious that they like me.

I keep them around for 3ish months seeing if they get bored quickly,
I talk to them often, get a feel of who I'm dealing with,

then tie the knot and confess if I feel like it's something worth diving into.

if i told my crush i liked him... it would turn out bad from the start but end up good in the end... like once i told my crush i liked him, after three years? or four, me and him are like bro and sis b/c i got to know him better.... another crush of mines, i told him i liked him, we just remained friends.... good friends. and with the other crushes i DIDNT tell but my other friends told for me, well we ended up hooking up / or getting into a relationship =)

should a girl tell her crush her feelings for him?

yeah, why not... :P

for guys : will you feel awkward if a girls tells you her feelings for you?

If you don't give a shit about the girl. No it's not.

If you like her. No it's not.

It depends... If you don't like the girl but she's your friend and you know she will be torn apart if you say that you don't feel the same way about her. Yea, it is awkward.

for guys : would your impression of the girl who told you her feelings for you be ruined because of that?

If she kept telling me that she didn't like me, and then she told me that she did... um, yeah I would... I would be like, "Quit plaaayin gaaaames wit my heart... It's my heart... my heart... baby, quit playin gaaaammes with my heart...."

If she was just being honest, and never played games with me. No not at all, as long as, she didn't make me feel pressured to say that I like her too.

I personally think it's equal. Girls can make the first move too and I admire their courage, seriously, because I couldn't do it.
I actually think it would be a better impression if you like the girl, but it might be the other way around if you don't have feelings for her.
