no because i've seen it at blogring and i was thinking that it would be just as boring here. at blogring, it's just like the lounge, so i don't know why all the members here are so paranoid about it.

^haha. I actually didn't know about backstage until I became a mod...back then. I was so oblivious.

Hey... I think it was the same for me. XD No wonder I didn't care. I didn't even know about it! It's coming back now. I didn't realize I was promoted and didn't notice Backstage until about 5 or 10 minutes after when I saw the 'congrats new mods' thread in Announcements and saw my name on the list! How sad. :(

Ditto. But unlike Mona, I think it was the first thing I noticed. One of the first things I do when I log on is check the list of online users and I'm pretty sure that's how I discovered Backstage.

J/k. It's nothing really, lol. I wasn't too excited about it when I became a mod. We just discuss boring stuff. It's still pretty cool though.

It's a hidden forum for the cB moderators to discuss the running of cB and other stuff.

And yeah, I've been to backstage when I was still on staff.
It was pretty cool to be able to post there in the beginning, but you don't find it very much different from the other forums here except it's much organized.

Been there, done that.

It gets interesting occasionally, usually when there is some sort of drama and the mods are bitching constructively discussing the matter without knowing that the people they are bitching about constructively discussing can see them. always entertaining.

Most of the time though, it is just administrative stuff, occasional decision making. the most active thread is their spam thread.

Oh, and if anyone DOES want to view backstage, i would like to point out that there is always a way. it just takes a bit of perceverance and a bit of care. go for it.

Not really. The level of intelligence there right now is much higher than the current one on here. Old cB > BR at any point in time, but right now, BR pwns cB as far as members go.

I think my modding era was one of the most interesting periods on cB. Obviously, really old school cB would be best, but we had some great drama and whatnot too. And I miss the Fab Five...

Yeah, 99% of it is talk about cB. Stuff to move, close, merge, what to do with this, what to do with that, new ideas, etc. The rest is just a "How's everyone doing today?" and stuff like that haha. Not real interesting, as James said. Only when drama goes on. Actually, come to think of it, it's not even interesting then.

Kinda like just waking up and greeting everyone for another day at the office.

Backstage is all right. Nothing special, except for the shit-talking during times of drama. Besides a overly packed schedule, Backstage is an indirect reason I stepped down. :/

Um, well that's most likely because the vast majority of current mods are completely uninteresting, no? And because most of the active members are too stupid and useless to spark anything with an interesting and lasting effect that doesn't involve pokemon?
