For some reason, any address bar on my computer goes: "------" automatically, even my MSN Messenger and IE. I try to replace it with a website name, but it automatically goes ----------- right back. How do I fix this and what's the cause. This happened right after my computer rebooted itself.

uninstall and re-install it. just a little tip...GET RID OF IE
think!IMAGINARILY
^ Totally agreed.
Get Opera. Or at least Firefox. IMO, Opera is the best browser there is.

I wouldn't know what the cause is because I've never had that problem before, but try clearing your cache and see what happens. Try playing around with the internet options too.

what's wrong with IE
a painefull euphoria
^^^ it sucks
and its a living cesspool of f**king spyware.
think!IMAGINARILY
^ But you can adjust the security settings to solve that problem..

IE7's text is extremely blurry. And I don't like how the toolbars aren't versatile. They caught on to the tabbed browsing too late.
Eh. Lately, I've just been hating anything by Microsoft..
Eryi
That problem happened in every area I could enter text.
Google Search Bar, Firefox, Writing E-mails, etc..
I searched for viruses, spyware and keylogs, didn't find anything and afterwards it would restart on its own. oro.gif

why are macs better then PCs

you guys have one drive, its not user-upgradeable, a mouse with one f**king button with like a 200 dpi, a shitty ass monitor that probably can't go over 60 Hz and on-board everything

GG

why dont you learn something about computers before you start talking
lumpy
yeah ok.

^ Sorry to inform you, but he is correct. PC > Mac. Anyways, we have plenty of thread going on about that topic so post in those and stay on topic please!

I've never heard of this issue. I searched Google but didn't find anything that wasn't already stated. Try contacting you ISP or whoever makes your computer.
