you guys, i need a good blending tutorial for photoshop,pleaseee.

the tutorials here when i type in blending or blend on cB aren't all just regular blending tutorials..there with masks and all this other stuff.

The first few steps on my Banneresque Tutorial are blending with no masks. Bleh. I despise masks.

Say whaaaa? What are you talking about?

All you do is copy/paste the pictures to where they're on two separate layers, lower the opacity of the top image, erase the parts you don't want to be there with a soft edged eraser, and bring back the opacity up and flatten. Voila.

Oh, no, I didn't take it as you being rude. Really.

And I completely understand confusion. But, if you're extremely confused, you should give yourself to clear your mind, perhaps work on something you know how to do, and then come back to it. Its a different method, I understand, but it's worked for me, since, i'm like the ultimate confused person...ever.

i understand how to blend now.
but my pictures look all.. weird looking and you can see where i stoped erasing around the pics very well.

how can i fix this?

Well, you could use a standard brush, set to a larger size (say 100-150px) and just go around the borders with the edge of it.. that usually gives a more faded look. I don't know any simpler way to do it.

^ pretty much like that, just, overlap the pictures more and use a bigger eraser.
