Man...I really need to re-read the 6th book its been so long haha, but I'm sooo excited for this one.

Wasn't it because Dumbledore had written a letter to Aunt Petunia (the day Harry was placed on their doorstep) explaining why Harry had to stay with them and why he would be safe there, at least until the age of 17? I know JK Rowling answered that question, so I probably found out from an interview posted on one of the many fansites.

And was it really the third book? That was soo long ago. Haha, I thought it was the fifth book or something. Because the howler is sent when Harry tells the Dursleys that he may be able to get the OotP HQ from Sirius. So Uncle Vernon orders him to leave their house but Aunt Petunia is forced to keep Harry with them.

It's the last book of the series; I'm sure Rowling will do it justice. She has to answer at least most of the questions posed from previous books. Besides, she said she would write about the lives of those who live at the end. Hopefully, Ron and Hermione will stay together.

I cannot wait to see what becomes of Malfoy! Yes, he's evil - but he spared Dumbledore's life, in a sense (even though it didn't help) and...well, he's Draco. So... I do wish he would turn good, though...and like fight alongside Harry against Dumbledore...although that will never happen, because it's like he is Harry's Dudley stand-in.

Yeah, it ended quite awhile ago, everyone has gotten their results back. There's bound to be a new one coming up though, especially since there's one more book left...if you check mugglenet.com periodically, there will be updates whenever something new occurs on JKR's website.

I vaguely remember this but did it have anything to do with seeing people die? As in similar to how Harry and what's her name.... the dreamy girl... oh, oh, Luna! didn't the book say that people became ghost because they were cowardly to die so they left an imprint of themselves on the face of the earth and that's why they became ghosts.
