Really? I thought it was just like "simulating" sex. I mean, you're not really impregnanting someone or going through intercourse. Is it really sex? And what if you masturbate after you're married? I don't think it's a sin considering it's your own body and you can do whatever you want with it. If you want to masturbate, I think you should be able to without having to worry if you're sinning.

No it isn't. Sex is only defined as sexual intercourse. Which everyone knows what that is. And also masturbation is defiend as self-abuse.

i was raised a Catholic and am still a firm believer in God and Jesus etc, but no, in my opinion its not a sin - its natural, especially for teenagers. I mean, theres no denying the sexual energy we have flowing through our bodies - a release is needed.

Later in life this becomes sex bla bla. people cant expect kids not to masturbate, its natural and its human. its oppressive to say it is a sin - only MEN who wrote holy books etc condemned it for their various reasons, i wont get into all taht.

You don't go to hell for sinning. You ask Jesus into your heart (get saved) and you go to heaven. God forgives you for sinning.

I think it's a sin... I don't think it's actually "having sex with yourself", but the bible says christians should keep even their thought life clean... this means no sexual fantasies, desires, etc.

You may not like it, but God wants us to remain pure. If being "pure" and "clean" and completely Christian was easy, then there wouldn't be much of a point.
