Seems like so many girls at my school have an LV bag now.. I just think it's stupid to spend $200+ for a friggin purse. I think there might have already been a poll for such a popular teen subject so sorry if it was repeated.

Actually, I'll probably be beat down for this, but I had always wanted them before they became popular...a black one, of course. I'm a purse person. I always bring them when I go out - not at school, though. Now, every person I see has one - I've decided not to get one. Oh, and about the money...they're usually for spoiled, rich kids, but I saved up for mine. Now, I'll use it to buy something I could probably put to better use: a digital camera.

It's just a fad now. I don't like buying into these recent trends and stuff.

well i used hate purses, but then i realized that i have to carry a lot of junk with meeh(cd player, wallet, book, um...ladie...things) and i didnt want to put it all in a HUGE bookbag, so i got a purse.

I wish I had one ... I personally think some of the LV bags are cute ... I guess it all depends on the person. I'm into collecting purses and I love to carry them around ... I can't leave the house without a purse because I would feel empty without one. AND YES, I probably WOULD pay THAT much for it .... afterall, I don't work for nothing!

$200+ for a purse? Come on! I made my own wallet and got my black bag type purse at an Army Navy store for only $8.

I think Luis Vuitton is nice, but personally I prefer Dior bags. However, I must say they're wayyy too expensive. Plus, I live in HK..they have really good quality fakes :smirk:

Lv is my hero... but you won't find a LV bag for $200 dollars... they start at around $440. and whoever said they won't last a long time is wrong-- my mom still uses her LV bags sometimes, and some of them she goes back in the 80s! you wouldn't tell the difference, since they are like both the same styles, etc. they're pretty =) my favorite collections are the murakami monogram multicolored in WHITE

I adore L.V., but I don't own any of their products... though my mother has a lot of L.V. bags.

What I hate the most is L.V. imitations... it's sort of a disgrace to the company name. I'm not saying that imitations are wrong, but it's a nasty fad.
