it seems like in my family... all the dad's are more easy-going than the moms.

for example: yesterday i went to the hair place with my dad & sister. i've been asking my mom for highlights for the past..uh.. 5 years. and she's always said no. so i decided to ask my dad. my dad wasn't sure what he should do, so he called my mom and my mom said "well... i'm against it, but you decide" (meaning.. in 'mom' language.. "absolutely not"). so my dad goes to me and says "do you promise to clean your room tomorrow?" and i'm like "..yeahh" and he says "ok, you can get highlights." SCORE.

and he got an ass-whuppin from my mom when we got home. ohh well... =]

what did i gain??... highlights + a clean room

lolz mai dad is the easy parent too. a couple months ago i asked mai mom if i can go to da blink 182 concert n she said no, so i asked mai dad n he said yes n then he convinced mai mom to let me go ^__^

Last night I was supposed to be studing for finals, but I'd been studing most of the day and I was just tired. So I told my dad, and he told me that he knew how I felt and that was fine, I just had to review on the way in to school. My mom came out and yelled at me to take practice quizzes on the maps. Needless to say I didn't study last night

When it comes to materialism, my dad is easy cuz he buys me a lot of stuff...hehe...i'm spoiled...when it comes to grades and academics, my parents are equally the same cuz both of them encourage me to do really well at school.

Both I suppose. I mean sometimes, my mom is nicer and then my dad's nicer.. I wouldn't really know. They are both great parents.

Definitely my dad! My dad thinks it's okay if I get a B for my exams as long as I tried. My dad doesn't care if I date. My dad gives me money! So basically he's just cool.

My mom gets worked up about my grades... But when it comes to the beauty department, she's all for it! She pays for all the whacked up haircuts I get. She supports my whacked up diet. And we talk about cute guys we see in the malls and stuff. I guess she's cool too but my dad is definitely more easy going.

my dad wants to ship me to taiwan to find a "proper husband" this summer. (hello dad... i'm 15 and we don't live in those ages anymore)
my mom has 2 point of views: (1) no guys until i'm 30 ...and (2) no guys until i've finished high school... no... college... no... grad school

it depends really .. usually the one more lenient with things is the parent that isn't always around as much .. my mom is the more strict one because she runs the household and it's a major responsibility for her to keep me and my siblings in line.. it isn't an easy job so you should give them the credit for being able to do that in hopes that you turn out the best person you could possibly be.. my father is the one that is working and he gets home at night.. he doesn't have to do much of the reprimanding , etc. therefore it's harder for him to say no when we ask for things .. it's not that he doesn't know what's best for us but being the parent that barely gets to spend as much time will feel a little guilty and want to make you happy .. it can be the other way around for the ones who have working moms and dad's who stay around the house .. regardless both parents play a vital role in us growing up .. so they both deserve equal credit .. both jobs aren't easy ..

both of my parents are easy in different ways... lets see.. my dad buys me everything i want spoiled me.. clothes, cds, shoes, etc.. books, and my mom is the same...except sometimes they dont let me go places i want.. too much fun... sigh

wow i know what you mean, my dads the easy parent as well, my moms the one whos always kicking my ass all the time making me clean and blah blah, but my dad, hes so fun and easy to put up with, doesnt give me trouble, only asks for a few favors back, and lets me go wherever, just as long as a i call home, but my mom is a straight "no" when i ask a question... hate that

My mom is a bot more leniant, but she freaks out at things more easily. My dad is quiet, however, when he's mad, he gets real mad and have that pissed off face. =(

well its kinda 50/50..my mom is easie when it comes to schoolwork and slacking off but my dad is easie when it comes to money and going out places...i dunno..thinking about it..i guess my mom is the easie going one cos im a mommy's girl and i get what i want when i want it..

dad gets me more things than my mom and lyke dad is mean but only when u tick him off and mom shes always nice but she has too much stress soo she is kinda mean but mom is the easyer one
