I'm not sure what it is either. My mom's telling me to go see a doctor, but she never takes me. And we also don't have insurance yet, so that may be a reason she won't go.

Yeah. Every single time at dinner, I start like.. coughingish. But it's not really a cough. It's like a moment where you feel like you're going to cough, but the cough won't come out, so all that happens is that your throat itches and it's like you're trying to cough up a hairball. And I start wheezing too. This usually happens only at dinner, but I started to get worried when today in science class, this happened out of nowhere. I wasnt talking, chewing gum or anything. >.< And yeah. Yesterday my throat had a weird feeling too. It was like.. something cold was stuck in it. Some reason, I kept gagging too. This was a real problem for me too because I was also gagging after dinner. Good thing I didn't puke. _unsure.gif Mehh. =[

I tried googling what you described, but I couldn't come up with anything specific.

I dunno. It could be an allergy to something? shrug.gif
But the best thing to do would be to see a doctor. Someone who could diagnose your situation, since most people aren't professionals. Good luck.

I get that tickly feeling when I'm starting to get a cold. You possibly could be getting sick. . . That, or maybe you are allergic to something.
But you probably are just getting a cold.

I remember it was worse when I just sat down and relaxed or something.
Basically at the dinner table or in the middle of class, it seemed much worse then, as opposed to when I was just walking around during the day.

I'm not really sure though.
You really should go see the doctor.

Maybe its allergies?

Are you allergic to anything?

As far as I know, I haven't been allergic to anyhing in my life except for pollen in springtime.

@Serendipity.: Those links did help. My mom does smoke, so that probably may be why. But these aren't really coughs. shrug.gif Ohwells. I think that would still be the explanation.

@Katie: Yeah. tongue.gif It does feel worse when I'm sitting, although I do get the feeling to cough also when I'm walking home from school, but it never happens until I sit down. I'm not sure if I'm getting sick either.
I will try to go to a doctor ASAP because it's also bugging me to death. sdfsdfsdfsdf

in case you haven't realized nobody on cB is a licensed physician

go to a doctor and suck it up when the bill comes

in case you haven't realized, my mom won't take me to a doctor.

I would really suggest seeing an ENT. I interned with one over the summer and there were a lot of cases like what you're describing.

I really wouldn't suggest posting this here because unless somebody has experience with this or has their m.d. their suggestions might make your condition worse.

If you can't see a doctor... go to an ENT forum or look it up on google.
