Finally realised love is really blind.

My ex is actually so ugly.

My best friend used to go, 'Ashley, he is not cute, he is freakin ugly!'

But I always thought he was the cutest.

So yesterday, I saw his prom pics and I finally realised that he was sooo ugly!

I was so blinded when I was with him. I mean, I still love him, but things are not the same anymore. Now I can really see. Does that make sense?

Hahaha, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I look at older pics and I think to myself, what was I thinking? But you what I think it is... if you had a bad experience wtih that guy, then more than likely you're going to find him a lot less attractive.

oh goodness i am tthe same with youi was going out with this guy last year and i thoughthe was very good looking after we broke up i looked at him straight up andi saw he was UGLY not cuz i "hated" him but he was really ugly. i would post a pic but im embarressed, but also everythign happens for a reason

it happens. maybe his personality is what overrided how you felt about his appearance. but until you're out of the relationship you don't see him in portions but rather a whole. he may seemed a lot more attractive to you while you were together and in love with him. it's true you often see people a lot differently once you're outside of a situation/relationship/friendship, etc.

It wasn't a bad relationship. It ended really great. Kinda like what latinalady96 said.

yea damnit love is blind and that sucks. i mean even though i kniow my judgement is kind of impaired when im all caught up in my feelinfgs but i ignore it everytime. yes my friends told me that my ex was an ass but i didnt know it until he went and broke my heart. but hey i still think hes hot. but hes still an ass.

haha true to that! took me a year and a couple of months to realize how ugly mai ex was o.0 inside nd out. I guess when you're in love you defend the person you love... even if what you're defending for is wrong. *shrugs* stuff happen.
