Ok, why is it that everytime I try to submit a graphic, ya know, with all the "Contribute your work to build the site!" and all, they turn me down?!? I have tried to submit 10 graphics, and only 2 have been accepted.
WHY?!?

http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=151544Those are the requirements we feel that should be met upon acception.
Usually, the rejector will tell you things to work on.

No, I get the: We are sorry to inform you that your graphic has not been accepted. No specifics.

Then you can pm the person asking why they didn't accept it. Pm that specific mod back and ask . You have a right to know .

And PLEASE, if you do PM them back, PLEASE give them a link back to the image. We can't remember which graphic is yours. Upload it to imageshack or something. PLEASE.

^ uhm. There is no guarantee that its going to go to a different mod. its just whoever goes through the queue.
And nerdyismyname, pick the one that you feel you did the best on but it got rejected?

^If you want to know why you should ask them. If they don't reply you can link the layout and just ask someone else why it could of possibly gotten rejected . Reading the rules and making sure you did everything right is another good way to figure out why.

Yea, but Kirstina was just saying that doesn't happen for everyone. I really suggest that when something gets rejected try your hardest to figure out why it was rejected. Because just because you send it again and it gets accepted by someone else , it doesn't really help anyone improve. Not saying that anyone is bad , because I know for one that if something of mine got rejected I would love to improve on it but I resubmit it. Which I think is a good idea for most people. People have different opinions so yea.

Aw, well don't give up! We keep really high standards here at cB. It's what sets us apart from all the other layout websites. We're just honored that you take the time to submit one of your layouts to us. All of you!

If it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't be where we are today! Don't stop trying and keep up the great work and please understand that just because you get rejected, even multiple times, does not in any way mean OMZGZ U SUK!!1twelve!!11!, haha, or mean that you can't design. It should encourage you guys to try harder.

I really, really,
really appreciate all who submit any layouts. Never stop trying and always try harder! I promise you'll get better that way.

If a mod rejects a graphic/layout of yours, you ask why, and they dont repond... Then PM another Design mod and send them a link and ask why they thought it didnt meet requirements.

Actually, No. I believe that Resubmissions are against the rules...

Also ! I have another question. How long does it take you guys to accept skins/tutorials/etc. ? Because before it use to be uhm.. two days to.. a week or so. AND also ! Do you guys review all the layouts and stuff at one time ? Or do you choose which ones to accept and which ones to just leave in the queue ? Because I've submitted some work and have seen others get accepted but mine not accepted nor rejected yet.. sooo I'm guessing it's just sitting there being purposely overlooked ? And yeah I've seen different design mods online all the time. So don't say they aren't o_O

^ Nothing gets overlooked, it just depends on where in the queue it is.
We accept/reject them individually, by date.
So, your graphic/layout wasnt overlooked, Its just no one has gotten to it yet.
We arent allowed to skip around through the queue and just leave some there... so yeah.
I hope that helped a little.
edit///
I cleaned out the queue, and accepted your tutorial. :]
Thanks for submitting it!

Nah layout wise, each one gets looked and the coding gets looked over as well. Just making sure its all aligned correctly, and not made with a generator or something. Yea we have to go in order, something with the time stamps on layouts it will go out of order and not look right, its not fair to just skip around anyway.

You sent me a pm, and I replied. Honestly, you really needed to work on photos being a little more artistic instead of just point and click.
And graphics/skins usually go through in a day or two.

That happens to me too, LOL.
You just got to change the style and theme and get good quality images and stuff and good colors.
I only got 2 submited as well. [; You can go look for ideas if you like.
