I'm totally confused when it comes to SAT's. I know I'm signed up to take the PSAT later this month, but when can I take my SAT's?

PSHHH Silly Juniors.
Thinking they're all better than the Seniors.
Hm. SAT's. I got a 2210, but most colleges dont look at the writing this year, so they'll see it as a 1510 out of 1600.
BUT WAIT. The cut-off's this year...
sucks for you, juniors.

Anytime they offer a date to take them, you can sign up at collegeboard online. I'm taking my SAT1 in December or January and subject tests in April/May.

i haven't taken the SATs yet. my counselor told me i don't need to take the SATs, but rather i should take the ACTs. i don't really know what i'm going to do yet. i'm taking like 8 college classes this year and 4 high school classes. pfff me. haha, no AP classes because i just don't like them. i would rather take actual college classes at the university lol ><

As a senior who has been accepted to his first choice of college, i would just like to sit back and take this moment to laugh my ass off at the poor little 08ers who still have to work their asses off.
HAH!

This FTW thing is driving me insane. Because I dislike acronyms in general, and it took me forever to figure out what it meant. Now that I have, it's really a stupid thing to say.
And James, I'm still having to work my ass off, so kindly shut up *sulks*

Yeah, I might as well take the ACT. I heard it was easier than the SAT anyway. I got one of the practice ACT packets and it doesn't look that bad....just....a lot of reading and the format is really different.

I took both. I prefer the SAT. Sheerly because of the science section, which gave me a headache, so I guessed through the entire thing. Plus, in the ACT's reading section, it has too many stupid passages about whirlwinds and scientific I don't care about. I think the only part of the ACT I prefered was the essay and the fact that it was last rather than first.

Depending on where you want to go, you'd be better off taking both. Some schools let you combine both scores. Or you could take the one you do the best on and use that score.
