Today was my homecoming! There were soo many people grinding on each other and some sandwiching... I remember back in middle school, where teachers didn't allow grinding, freaking, etc. Does your school have rules on what kinds of dancing that's allowed?
Oh and if someone asks you to dance with him/her, what do you do, like what kind of dancing do you do, and when a song ends, do you continue to dance with the person or just leave?

New dane rule
2 couples freaking = warning
3 more couples freaking = lights on during dance
2 couples freaking = cancelled dance, no refunds
Now how sucky would that be if it was prom. Homecoming is next Saturday for me. Last year, my friend was freaking and he only got kicked out.

My first and second elementry school dances (6th grade.. so yeah, I guess it's middle school, but 5th graders were there too) had so much grinding and freaking too. None of the adult supervisors yelled at us too. WTF?
I never dance at any of the dances. If anybody asked me, I would have just rejected them in a heartbeat. I ONLY GO THERE FOR THE FOOD! :D I've only slowdance with somebody once, but that was it. Never danced since. XD -such a loser-

At my high school, there was always plenty of that but they kept getting stricter every year. Now they have a lot more chaperones around to make people stop and stuff. =p
And if I want to dance with them, I will...and how I dance with them? Depends on the song and who they are haha...yeah. *shrug*

They tell us to not dance like that, but not too many people actually listen. It's actually gotten relatively cleaner, dependin on what area of the dance floor you're on.

My school doesn't really care, as long as the clothes stay on.

Well, we didn't have any rules against grinding until some high school in my school district had a couple actually have sex on the dance floor. You might've actually heard of it... it was on CNN a few or more months ago.
Because of that, the teachers all had flashlights at prom last year and would make sure people weren't getting too close. When they were, they turned up the light and stopped the music.
But at homecoming, they didn't really care. People were freaking all over the place, so yeah. No big.

Grinding is the best part of dances! Ohhhh my gosh. Love it. We weren't allowed to touch in middle school except for slow dances, but now the teachers could care less. I don't know what Homecoming will be like this year, it's in two weeks but I'm going to Fright Fest at Six Flags with my boyfriend instead.

They post poned the homecoming dance at my school today. Now its november 17th or something and they changed it to the Sadie Hawkins theme.

So many girls were complaining today

one girl went as far as hitting a table and screaming but he was supposed to ask me.. they she had a bad day the rest of the day so it was kind of odd.

My teachers have given up trying to stop the sandwiching and grinding. They would prefer that we didn't to it, but hey--like that's gonna stop an entire gym full of horny teens.
As for the dance question, it depends. If someone asks me to slow dance, then we just slow dance. If it's a fast song, I stand about four to six inches away from him. It's close enough to him so the guy won't be offended, and far enough away so that I don't look like a whore.
