Okay. I just starting liking this guy so basically it's like a crush right now. I don't know what to talk to him about, like to him I'm probably still his acquaintance. One of my friends told me that I was his type but I don't know? He always says hi to me when I see him and I say hi to him too.

Any advice on stuff to talk about?
How can I talk to him more but not make him think I'm annoying?
Would it be weird if I started IM-ing him? Usually I wait for him to IM me but I doubt that's going to happen so maybe I should start IM-ing him?

Start talking to him more - at school, and online. Don't bug him, but be friendly; talk about school events, the latest movie, etc. Get to know him better. And be yourself. (=

The more you hang out, the more you will have to talk about. Just let it happen, say hi and stuff.

I would talk to him in person first, to get comfortable, and then IM him. If you just IMed him, he might think you`re a bit weird haha. If you talked to him in person though, and both of you guys were comfortable enough to IM eachother then I think that would work better than IM-ing him.

Haha, I think he's not one of those open type of guys. So I really don't know how to open him up. I see him talk to girls but I don't know if I should tell them that I started liking him because they might tell him & I'm not ready for him to know since I barely know anything about him..

The easiest way is through myspace. So ask him for his myspace and gradually start messaging. It might make it easier to talk to him in person, as cheesy as it seems.

OOhh, I had the same problem last year! =P Only I sort of knew him in person like you, and he would say hi to me sometimes in the hallways. I actually took a chance and just IMmed him out of no where, and he made fun of me for it, but then we just ended up talking casually and then he began to talk to me more in person.

You should just try to do whatever you're most comfortable with. =] It all depends on you since you know him yourself, but the guy ended up liking me and so hey! You never know. =] Good luck!

I'll tell you what i usually do when i want to get to know a guy better. I ask him if he's in a team ;do that, if he'is in ateam ask him when they play and you could go to watch him.
Also ask him if went on a trip was it nice and stuff.

In general ask him things that are interesting and have to do w/ him.

my significant other was a foohead and was like "okay i'll give you my screen name... tomorrow," and never did
then eight months later after we started he was like "well i was wondering if you liked me enough to get it from someone else. obviously, yeah"
