Every school offers different AP classes. So what does your school offer?
The bolded ones are the ones I am considering to take and the ones I am taking now. Haha. It seems like I am gonna take almost all AP classes offered in my school.
My school offers:
-Calculus AB-Calculus BC-Statistics-European History-US History-Government-Economics-Biology-English-Spanish-Chinese
-French
I wish my school has more AP science classes though, we only have biology.

-American Government
-Biology
-Calculus AB
-Calculus BC
-Chemistry
-English
-Physics
-Spanish
-Statistics
-U.S. History
-World History
Yeah, not a lot. I've taken World History, dropped BC over summer, and currently taking AB and Biology. Statistics, English, and maybe Government or Physics next year for senior year.

Don't take AP Physics; Fowler's retiring this year (and he was a bad teacher), but there's no word of the replacement AP physics teacher. AP English = <3. Hella people hated AP gov (a lot of written work). And AP stat some people had a lot of trouble; mixed bag, really. And AP chem = <3.
What happened to AP studio art with Hentschke? I know Sheng took it two years ago.. Man, they're whittling away at those APs; they got rid of AP Environmental Science my soph (?) year.

I might not take AP English, I heard it was reaaaally hard. Fowler's not bad, he's my current Physics teacher, but I heard the environment in AP Physics is a lot more different.
I think there is AP Studio Art cuz someone said she was taking it. I don't know why it wasn't listed on the elective sheet though.

Yeah.. AP physics with Fowler was hellaaaaa chill; everyone always slept and he didn't really care since he was so stressed out about his other classes.. but still, I heard this year was his last year and so he's (obviously) not going to be the ap physics teacher next year since he's retiring..
AP English was my favorite class senior year; I heard it was really hard, too, but it's not much worse than honors. I heard honors was really fscking hard before I took it, but it really wasn't bad at all. MHS has good (accelerated) English and science teachers in comparison to the other teachers there, to be quite frank.

Yeah, I agree. Demmert, Mellera, and Hanley are the best :). Eh, I heard Lancy Lu got a C in AP English :/ Honors English is killing me right now, but then again, writing isn't my forte.

Honors wasn't that hard for me. I hella BSed my way through and got Bs both semester, I think (not sure). And Lancy's a fob, that's why, shoot. I got Bs both semesters, again, haha, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. And both AP English teachers are good (Ribovich and Colburn); I heard Rib's a lot harder than Colburn, though.

I think our IB list would be a lot shorter. In fact, taking full diploma gives you very little flexibility over your schedule at all; even IB electives are AP classes. We kind of double IB/AP classes a lot, since there's usually not much difference.

And the school is a lot more competitive.

I definitely thought I responded to this post already?
Anyway, colleges look at what your school offers and what you take in relation to that. The counselors fill it out, so they'll see that by not taking AP classes, you weren't just slacking. And assumedly, the counselors should recognize whether you made the effort to take more honors classes than most, so it's all relative, and you shouldn't get too completely screwed by the lack of difficult classes so long as you have good grades. They'd likely pay more attention to your class rank in that situation.
