I just finished this book and surprisingly enough, I liked it. I hardly ever enjoy stories I'm required to read.

It seemed... really... surrealistic and freakish to me. Like the way he had no emotions whatsoever? Crazy.

I just don't want to... analyze and criticize it. But that's what we'll end up doing in class. *sigh*

Edit: Oh wait... The author's Albert Camus... can a mod change that please? It was late and my brain wasn't functioning properly

I was assigned that book just today. Isn't it about a guy who waits for his execution after a murder? After reading the 1st page I kind of like it and want to read more of it.

That's not what it's all about. I like it that the more you read the story, the more you realize how detatched he is from the world... it's so... creepy and intriguing.

Hmmm.. sounds very interesting.
Maybe I will check it out the next time I am in Barnes&noble.
Creepy/intriguing books are the best. _smile.gif
