The good thing is.. its feels like you know everyone around your area that's filipino and that you are "related" in a way.
The bad thing is.. we choose entertainers as to be our leaders.

I like being filipino because we've got a great mix and we look different from all the other Asians. I dunno a bad thing. I don't know too many filipinos.

We're an opressed bunch, I guess. A lot of people think that a lot of Asians don't stick up for themselves, and I feel like we're the victims? Does anyone else feel that way?
I've gotten a lot of racist remarks. Especially from the black and white people in my community. It's just the people in my neighborhood that make fun of us asians a lot. =[ But some azns have band together to form their little crews to stick up for ourselves and f 'em up =D lol. Not that it's a good thing.

Good thing about being Hispanic:
1) Funny parents, who are kind of weird...(is that a good thing?)
2) If you know Spanish, most likely, you are able to use that spanish accent in different ways (you can sound italian and you are able to pronounce words that oftentimes, others can't). That doesn't really make sense, but oh well...
3) I have no idea...
Bad things:
1) People assume you're MEXICAN! GRR, that's just so annoying, just because a person speaks Spanish, doesn't mean they're Mexican
2) Some look down on you, those stereotypes that annoy the hell out of me
3) I don't know, parents are kind of strict

good things about being chinese:
- chinese new years
- good food
- my grandparents gives me whatever i want
- we're good at math
- we study hard to succeed

bad things about being chinese:
- racism
- parents are overprotective
- parents compare you with people who are smarter than you
- everyone expects me to get really high grades
- parents makes you study like 5 days before a test

People think I'm a mexican but that's cause I've been under the sun for a long while...

-Kindness and warmth is rampant.
-Skilled jungle fighters (well maybe that's in the Filipino soldier category... )

-One word brings down the credibility of the Filipino people: Corruption. (cases like these aren't shown that often in Filipino-Americans due to the conditions we were raised in.)

Good thing about being a Korean:
- You get sae baet don (money) in new years.
- You have a stereotype, which I think is true, of being good in art or math.
- Kimchi!

Bad things:
- Slanty eyes.
- And you know... the asian curse.

I'm 50% Italian (Dad) and I'm 50% Puerto Rican (Mom). It's weird cause my first name is definately comes from my Hispanic side, and then my last name is very Italian!

-Race means NOTHING to us
-The HUGE families where having over a hundred first cousins isn't considered odd
-Being black but having blue and green eyes is common and looks cool
-Meeting a Cape Verdean and finding out your related lol

-Having some VERY country relatives with names like "Madingo"
-People always go "You're Cape Verde-what?"

Mexican

Good:
-We have delicious food
-We dance salsa pretty damn good.
-We're fun

Bad:
-Mexico is a little scary. Kind of dirty and dangerous (some parts)
-Mexicans are too hot too handle :shifty. Hahaha. Jayy Kayy.
-People think that we're ALL immigrants.

I was born and I live in Mexico. I'm not the stereotypical mexican though. I don't have dark skin or any of the usual features. I'm a mix.

Good things about being Mexican:
+ Food
+ Dancing
+ Language
+ We're very warm people ;)

Bad things:
- Racism
- Lack of money in the country
- I don't know. I love my country actually. It's blinded me.

good thing about being chinese: well... you're automatically thought smart, which isn't a bad thing, since it's true for me (srry if it sounds cocky...)

bad thing: all the stereotypes like the language, accents, food, etc.

Bad thing is that people call you names like nigger and colored and stuff. Good thing is that we're brown not BLACK so what's the point of calling us darkness.

The bras. Mexico has nice bras.

People not being able to tell who you are (I usually get either chinese or spanish).

Neutral things:
Being coerced to do well in academics (on one hand, its great for later in life, on the other hand, it's really not too fun having to tons of extra credit because mommy said so.)
