I think for myspace. you guys should have a download link and to be able to download the page they have to input their myspace screen name on it. Because i mean, that way i can track down my jocker easier. I've found at least 3 jockers this week and it's really pissing me off.

I'm guessing you mean MySpace layouts here? You can put your name on an image or add text that identifies that layout as yours before submitting it.
I don't quite understand the first part of your paragraph.

I think she means she wants to have a tracker on the download page for myspace layouts? Or have some sort of identification on the people who download the layouts?
Mona: People can easily remove it. All they need is photoshop and backspace.

^why not just add your own name to the images?
Input a link as well for credit and put your name or site name or whatever on to the image, thats what a lot of people do.

Um.. this ties in with this thread; getting jocked is just a risk you take when you decide to put anything on the internet. Like it's already been stated a few times in this thread, you place your name on the images you create; you can also include a disclaimer in the css of your coding, since most (if not all) jockers don't really look through it. But there really is no guaranteed way to avoid being jocked other than just not putting your work up in public.

Rachael, are you serious? I thought ms doesnt read encoded html.

It reads it for xanga - you now, that really simple encoding. I don't see why it wouldn't work for myspace.

How did you do it, Rachael?

The codehouse encoder and the cB encoder do the same thing; the encoded html works in xanga, but not myspace.

How did you know that she was using it for xanga?
She didn’t say it. She was saying ... why it wouldn’t work for myspace.
I think you misunderstood.

She doesn't specify; I assume she meant xanga, seeing as how she doesn't use encoded html on her myspace (and it'd make sense that she would, if it did work there).
You can ask her.
In any case, back on topic... yeah.. jocking is pretty much unvoidable..

She doesn’t use encoded html on Xanga either.
In this case, you're right. I don’t think it's possible to have encoded html on myspace yet.
